Talking to a handful of customers around the city, what stood out most about CCP PDX wasn’t just the speed or reliability, but the sense that this is a service deeply rooted in community values. 

Their medication pickup service, for example, has proven to be more than just convenient. In one instance, they were able to rush in an at-home COVID test kit to someone in need. Managing stressful situations like this requires care and should be done efficiently. 

We also really appreciate their commitment to sustainability. As a bike-powered delivery crew, they move through the city with a purpose, handling everything from tattoo supplies to coffee beans and food orders.

Honestly, it’s impressive how they handle so much. So, it’s a relief knowing CCC PDX can get it down the right way when you’re running low on kibble or need a pharmacy pickup.

That said, some customers did complain about frequent delays due to poor system syncing with some restaurants. The team responded that they were working on the issue and asked for understanding. 

Though this refers to food delivery, we believe improving this area could strengthen their overall courier service.

Cascade Courier often came up during our conversations with locals, so we naturally had to check them out. 

Most of the people we talked to shared how Cascade saved the day with the last-minute deliveries. What’s even better is how their friendly staff handles urgent situations calmly and quickly, which definitely makes a difference when you’re in a rush. 

They offer everything from 1-hour and 3-hour deliveries to full-on route services for businesses that need regular pickups. 

We really appreciated how everything felt so personalized. They’re flexible with special handling instructions and even offer weekend deliveries, which really helps ease the pressure on our schedule. 

We’ve seen them work with all kinds of industries too—legal, healthcare, education. You name it. Honestly, it’s impressive and shows just how experienced they are. They’ve been around since 1988, and it’s clear they’ve earned their solid reputation. 

That said, we did come across one concern. Some clients mentioned reaching out by email and phone for an urgent matter but never got a response. It’s frustrating to feel ignored when time is critical, and we hope situations like this can be given more priority.

They even offer next-day U.S. delivery to all 50 states, which is perfect for anything urgent. Plus, we like how simple it is to track our package along the way. 

Another thing we appreciate is their commitment to sustainability. With GoGreen Plus, DHL helps reduce shipping-related carbon emissions through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel. It feels good to know we’re supporting more eco-friendly practices when we ship with them. 

However, there are a few concerns regarding delay. Some customers said they were repeatedly told their packages would be delivered, but they never arrived. 

One customer even said they weren’t allowed to just pick up the parcel themselves despite it already being a week late. Hopefully, the company can work on better communication and flexibility in situations like this.

Planning ahead or scrambling to get something across town last minute? That’s where River City Rush Delivery Inc. seems to shine. They make it easy to find a delivery option that fits whatever timeline you’re working with. 

What’s cool is that they don’t force you into a one-size-fits-all service. You can go with their route delivery if it’s not too urgent, or bump it up to rush (2 hours) or even the nonstop service if time is tight. 

It’s also a nice touch that they have a full fleet, from cargo to sprinter vans, so your package always fits perfectly. There’s a sense of professionalism that runs through everything they do. 

Their drivers are TSA-approved and go through full background checks, which says a lot about how seriously they take trust and security. That kind of attention to detail makes a difference, especially when you’re dealing with sensitive items. 

However, there have been concerns regarding delays. One customer shared that the team arrived an hour late with no prior notice, and both the driver and call center staff showed a little concern. 

While the parts were eventually delivered, the overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and we hope they can improve on this.

Very dependable with the low cost of pickup and delivery.

We’ve seen a lot of people rely on them for money remittance too, so it’s kind of a one-stop shop if you’re trying to send something—-or anything—to the Philippines. Tracking is easy, and their team usually walks you through everything so you know what you expect.

On the flip side, there have been some concerns about customer service. One regular customer shared a difficult experience when they tried to enter without a mask due to a medical exemption. Things escalated, and at one point, the staff reportedly threw their box outside. 

Moments like this can really shake customer trust, especially when people count on these services to bring them closer to loved ones. A little more patience and communication could really strengthen the experience.
