We were impressed by how smoothly Paper Chase Shredding & Recycling handles large volumes. One client mentioned that they had 64 boxes to shred, and Paper Chase came on time and did the job efficiently in just over an hour. 

Their pickup service is another convenient option, though it does come with an additional fee. It helps clients ensure their records are securely transported to Paper Chase’s facility for destruction. 

What really stood out to us, though, is the security Paper Chase offers. They provide certificates of destruction, so you can be confident that your documents are thoroughly and properly disposed of. 

They’ve been doing this for over 39 years, and not a single data breach has happened, which is very reassuring. 

Another aspect we appreciate is their commitment to sustainability. Paper Chase recycles all shredded materials and was even featured on a TV show for Earth Day, highlighting their efforts to protect both your information and the environment.

However, there were reports of missed pickups and unfriendly customer service. The company has acknowledged these concerns and promised to improve customer experiences.

Shred Northwest shows a great number of satisfactory results globally. It’s amazing how they are open to shredding in their branches in all 50 states. 

One of their standout features is their efficiency. With a two-hour expected service window, you won’t have to block off your entire day. One client shared with us how the team showed up ahead of time and only took 10 minutes for the entire process.

We also love their recurring shredding service. The company returns on a scheduled time, say every two or four weeks, making the whole disposal process hassle-free.

It’s also impressive they go beyond just paper shredding. They shred hard drives too, which other companies don’t provide.

The best part about this service is that they plant a tree for every new sign-up customer, plus four more trees for your business neighbors. It’s a meaningful way to make document disposal feel even more productive.

That said, there have been a few reports of payment issues. One client reported an issue where a driver accepted payment but was still invoiced with a late fee. To avoid this, it’s best to request and keep a signed receipt.

They’ve also been in the industry for over 20 years, so you know that your data and documents are in safe hands. 

We found their pricing reasonable too. Mobile shredding ranges from $130 to $175 for up to 10 boxes of paper, while offsite shredding costs between $110 and $130 for the same amounts. Hard drives are priced between $7 and $20 each.

Just keep in mind that prices can vary depending on your location, project size, and other factors.

That said, it’s not totally clear how they handle paper recycling—we’d love a bit more transparency on that.
