Aside from accommodating various RV types, including 50-amp hookups and providing laundry facilities. It even features a sports center! My stay went far beyond comfort and became an awesome experience.

I had a blast in their game room and took full advantage of the relaxing spa. My day was very productive but not entirely tiring at all. It totally exceeded my expectations in RV parks where nature meets modern living; Jantzen felt more like vacation meets adventure.

Just a few minutes away, you’ll find Columbia River RV Park. And for fellow locals, don’t worry—I just came from downtown Portland, and I barely broke a sweat. This spot’s closer than you think.

When I mentioned top-notch entertainment, I meant complimentary DirectTV with plenty of channels to relax into after a day of outdoor activities.

I also really appreciated their direct sewer line to hook up the RV’s waste tank and direct water supply from the local municipal water system—talk about convenience on another level!

Pro tip: You’ll definitely want to bring binoculars for some birdwatching! The area is full of wildlife, including herons and waterfowl.

The best thing for me here was the landscape—it boggles my mind with its paradisiac backdrop of a duck pond with a waterfall, rose bushes, and lavender. It felt almost like I wasn’t at RV camping at all; it was more peaceful retreat than rugged adventure.

But the adventure is still close by. Just an hour’s drive away, I got to Mount Hood, Oregon’s highest peak. And after some strenuous activities, I was able to hit the pool for ultimate relaxation.

P.S.: You can actually feed the ducks provided by the resort office!

Clackamette RV Park, right on the banks where the Willamette and Clackamas rivers meet, has one of the most picturesque views on this list. With direct river access and boating opportunities, I loved being so close to the water’s natural beauty.

The park’s 25 acres made the perfect setting for a peaceful picnic—a perfect downtime after a day of exploring. I also checked out the skatepark and strolled along the trails by the riverside, fully taking in the serene surroundings.

I was a total busybody at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, spending time at their recreational facilities, especially the putting greens. My rusty skills finally got some practice!

That said, the place also has this chill vibe with lots of natural beauty that sometimes I just had to sit back and admire it all.

I also loved that they had free Wi-Fi. We were able to search for putting techniques, and of course, update our status about this astonishing place.

What really seals the deal is the location. It’s super close to epic hiking spots like the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls. So yeah, it’s got the best of both worlds—relaxing and exploring.
