The first thing that comes up when we talk to people about Platform Realty is their amazing team. As we all know buying or selling a property can be super stressful, especially if you’re new to the area or a first-timer, but they really make it all seem easier. 

One landlord shared how knowledgeable the team is, especially in educating clients about the details of leasing commercial properties. They also stayed on top of providing valuable resources for other aspects of the business, such as working with banks and contractors.

We were also amazed by their great pulse on the market for commercial buildings. One client shared they helped him search for the best place to relocate in the area. 

While many have had positive experiences, there is room for improvement. One client had a negative experience leasing a commercial space due to a lack of communication, despite submitting personal and business information. 

The company apologized, explaining that the issue stemmed from a transition in their phone and email systems. The owner expressed a willingness to make things right, noting that the desired space or a similar one may still be available.

    One client, who had no prior knowledge of commercial real estate, greatly appreciated the thorough guidance he received. The valuable insights they provided made it possible for the client to successfully purchase an investment property. 

    Another thing that stood out to us was their excellent representation. One client faced challenging marketing timing, but thanks to Works RE’s expertise, they were able to secure a favorable closing outcome and even saw a moderate return on their investment. 

    Instances like this really highlight their attention to detail and how they ensure a smooth experience. 

    We also appreciated how approachable and knowledgeable the team is, offering a wide range of services. 

    While many clients spoke highly of their responsive and client-focused approach, not all experiences were entirely positive. One client felt the team was unprofessional, and pressured them to lower their price and make unnecessary upgrades.

    While this looks like an isolated case, it’s something to keep in mind. We think a more detailed explanation of why the price set by the client is not possible would’ve easily helped avoid this.

      Expanding a business sounds exciting, but we all know the next challenge is finding the right place. After talking to some local business owners, we knew NAI Elliot had to be on our list. 

      A lot of people praise how the company handled retail leasing. Nai Elliot is quick to respond and very approachable, which are exactly the qualities you want in a commercial realtor. 

      It’s easy to feel lost during this process, but NAI Elliot stood out by being patient and guiding clients every step of the way. 

      What we also liked is that working with one of their agents means tapping into the entire team’s expertise. They emphasize collaboration, sharing insights, market knowledge, and creative strategies to better serve their clients. 

      Clients we spoke with often mentioned how helpful NAI Elliot was in answering their questions. 

      However, not everything we came across was entirely good. One client shared that they were told a building was available, but despite multiple promises of a lease and keys, nothing happened. This left them scrambling to find another location at the last minute. 

      While it’s unclear whether the issue was with the owner or the agency, the experience was professional. NAI Elliot did admit that the pandemic created extra challenges for both tenants and landlords.

        However, not everything went smoothly. One buyer expressed frustration after following advice and guidelines. Despite their efforts, the seller sold the house to someone else, and the client felt their time was wasted due to false reassurances and unresponsiveness from the agents.

He has an uncanny sense for what a property will sell for.  We once walked a place that was just listed for $650k, within minutes he was like “this will sell for $750”.  We didn’t place an offer as it wasn’t the one for us, but I checked ~6 weeks later and sure enough it had sold $100k over asking at exactly $750k.  Similar things happened several other times.  He knows when something will go fast and what terms it’ll take to get a deal done.  He’s also well connected…pretty much every time we engaged with another party he had had some previous experience with the other agent.  Highly recommended!”
