Pros
- Customized treatment programs
- Uses The Graston Technique®
- Videoconferencing option available
- Highly-trained team of physical therapists
- Well-maintained clinic
Cons
- Small team
In our opinion, excellent physical therapy is rooted in great patient rapport and communication. And this is one of the major reasons why Therapydia is among our best picks – apart from its services that is.
What we love most about this place is how attentive the physical therapists are (at least in our experience). While it’s naturally a subjective experience, we did find positive client reviews that further strengthened our observations.
As expected in any physical therapy clinic, the treatment plans here are customized based on the client’s body goals. These will be determined through the initial consultation, which can actually be taken remotely if you please.
The custom-fitted programs aren’t just personalized this way. In fact, they’re also able to work around your schedule as they take into account your lifestyle too (we believe this process makes at-home exercises easier as well).
To give you an idea, most of their programs may include manual techniques or a combination of other methods. One of the methods they use is The Graston Technique®, which, by the way, is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
Finally, even though their team is small, they have a lot of experience under their belts. Plus, everyone is pretty chill and friendly yet extremely professional in the workplace – and it’s honestly our favorite combination.

Pros
- Accepts most insurance plans
- Specializes in various treatment areas
- Easy online payment system
- Big team of physical therapists
- Comprehensive treatment programs
Cons
- Reports of unsatisfactory results
West Portland Physical Therapy Clinic, LLC would have to be our top recommendation when it comes to the range of specialties. Other than that, the clinic also won our standards with its comprehensive client care.
To start things off, the clinic has a big team of specialties that we can describe as communicative and patient. And although this doesn’t affect their services, we actually appreciate that there are a lot of female professionals on board.
We mention this because they specialize in women’s health, as well as prenatal and postpartum care. And we know that a fair number of female patients prefer female physical therapists.
But apart from this, they specialize in a wide array of areas too including pediatric rehabilitation, spine care, and more. Knowing their range of expertise, we feel confident that they can deal with almost any patient need.
Beyond the actual services, another thing we appreciated was how easy it is to make payments online. And the even better part is that they actually accept most insurance plans (they also accept worker’s compensation or motor vehicle claims).
On the other hand, we did find comments of dissatisfaction in terms of the outcomes. But if we’re being fair, these reports were only recorded in the past and we found no complaints in the last few recent years.

Pros
- 25 years of experience
- Helped over 14,000 patients
- Various areas of specialization
- Board-certified therapists
- Free 20-minute discovery session
- Accessible patient resources online
Cons
- Minor reports of unsatisfactory results
Experience is another thing that matters greatly to us when it comes to physical therapy, And when it comes to this department, we have to give the crown to Rose City Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy Specialists.
To establish its reputation, the clinic has been operating for 25 years using its evidence-based practices. Over this period, they’ve helped over 14,000 individual patients and have made over 200,000 patient care visits,
Aside from experience, we also value how diverse their specialization is, being able to treat various types of conditions. With this, we can confidently assume that they have the training and knowledge to deal with any patient with unique needs.
Now moving on to its treatment program, its approach is also personalized (the same as other clinics in the area). They even offer this free 20-minute discovery session which gives enough time for injury screening and discussions.
Their team size is pretty decent and all their professionals are actually board-certified therapists. We like that they have various specialties too so clients can reach out to a particular therapist who can help with their condition.
As one of the only two clinics on our list with a perfect 5-star rating on Google Reviews, we found nothing but high praises for their services. As another special treat, they even have easily accessible resources that patients can access.

Pros
- Wide range of multidisciplinary treatments
- Patient-centered therapy techniques
- Highly trained physical therapists
- Competitive pricing system
- Offers insurance assistance
Cons
- Minor issues regarding hidden charges
Therapeutic Associates promises one thing: to empower every patient to reach their full potential. Fortunately for them, we find their services and facilities satisfactory which aids patients in their healing journey.
Through visits, we’ve seen how spacious their clinic is which is fit for incorporating private treatments. At the same time, there is also enough room for other activities that mainly focus on exercise (which is a standard part of therapy).
Besides the environment, we also like the wide range of multidisciplinary treatments and performance and preventative services they offer. They do this through their patient-centered therapy techniques, which is what we prefer by the way.
Additionally, we know how important it is to know the level of expertise their staff has to offer and they did not disappoint us. The physical therapists in their clinic have a combined orthopedic and manual therapy education which is pretty much the best there is.
For the rates, our interviews reflected the competitive pricing system the clinic practices (as of writing). They are also very generous when it comes to assisting their patients regarding insurance, so it really is a great convenience for your part.
Although that is the case, we’ve heard of the minor issues about hidden charges that some of the previous customers had experienced. This is quite concerning on our behalf, however, there are only a few cases of this so it is pretty much all right.

Pros
- Evaluation and treatment by a licensed physical therapist
- Individualized goal planning and treatment
- Referrals to other medical providers
- Treats a wide range of conditions
- Specializes in sports physical therapy
Cons
- Minor issue in customer service
With over two decades of combined physical therapy and athletic training experience, PT 360° has the edge for all things regarding sports medicine. But of course, they are also very recommendable for a wide range of physical therapies.
Of all these, we do appreciate the approach they have for their manual physical therapy. Their staff base the passive intervention techniques on the patient’s condition (which is the best thing to do for a better outcome).
Moreover, their rehabilitation treatment has gained positive reviews, which is also a positive note for us. This only shows how effective the program is, plus, they’re willing to collaborate with patients on formulating realistic treatment goals.
When it comes to the matter of convenience, the clinic didn’t let us down. They have this strict rule of seeing patients one at a time and on time, and we also find out that they use no aides (so patients work only with certified physical therapists).
Another good thing about them is their long list of insurance companies partners to help patients cover the charges. On top of that, they also have a reasonable self-pay rate if insurance isn’t an option, which we understand as a great help.
Finally, the clinic’s overall smooth service is what truly drives us to their side (from setting up an appointment up until the very last sessions).
Although there were very small customer service issues (fixable), they certainly deserve their 5-star rating on Google Reviews.
