Tie the Knot in Style at the Best Wedding Venues in Portland

  • Location: We made sure each venue was in a spot that was both beautiful and accessible.
  • Ambiance: We looked for places with a unique character—whether it’s rustic charm or something totally out of the box—that will make your day feel special and unforgettable.
  • Capacity and Flexibility: We considered venues that can comfortably fit a range of group sizes. We also took into account how flexible the space is for customization—because your wedding should feel like your wedding.
  • Amenities and Services: We looked for spots that provide solid support like catering options, event coordination, and parking, so you can focus on enjoying the day.
  • Reviews and Reputation: We checked out what other couples had to say. Real reviews from real people are a good indicator of how well a venue delivers on its promises, and we’ve made sure each one has earned high marks.

At a nearby table in a busy café, a couple was deep in conversation about their wedding plans. The bride-to-be was practically glowing as she described this stunning venue they’d visited—soaked in sunlight, framed by tall trees and epic mountain views.

You could tell she was already picturing herself walking down an aisle lined with wildflowers, family, and friends all around.

It was one of those moments that makes you realize how big of a deal finding the right wedding venue really is. It’s not just a spot to say your vows—it’s where your memories are made.

To make your search a little easier (and way less stressful), we’ve put together a list of some of Portland’s best wedding venues.

Ready to find your dream spot? Let’s dive in.

Blockhouse offers a unique vibe setting it apart from many other Portland wedding venues. Tucked inside the Pomarius Nursery, it’s surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful floral displays that create a truly intimate and garden-like atmosphere for your big day.

The space is versatile, with room for smaller gatherings of around 10 people or larger events of up to 100 guests. Whether you’re planning an indoor ceremony or want to take advantage of the outdoor setup, Blockhouse can easily accommodate both.

The open kitchen and covered outdoor areas are nice touches that make the experience even better, and the staff are accommodating.

Previous couples we’ve spoken to mentioned that the staff made sure nearly every detail was perfect and handled any curveballs with ease.

That said, it’s worth considering that the venue’s seating capacity might be a bit tight for larger groups. But if you’re after an intimate, nature-filled setting, Blockhouse is worth checking out.

Pros

  • Natural-filled setting
  • Outdoor and indoor setting
  • Helpful staff
  • High-quality cuisine
  • Flexible spaces
  • Inclusive decor

Cons

  • Not suitable for larger-scale weddings
  • No dedicated “getting ready” space
  • May include some additional costs

All in all a very reasonably priced venue. Everyone thought it was beautiful, and I agree

“Gorgeous venue! The greenhouse with the plants and flowers looked beautiful on our wedding day! I loved how reasonable the space was. The nursery has a roof and collapsible walls if it’s too hot, and you can rent heaters if it’s too cold. The Blockhouse space also has a roof, heaters, and plenty of room for a decent dance floor. The inside space is very roomy. We rented the plant wall to fill out the area behind our ceremony. We also paid for the extra hour before our event for family photos. All in all a very reasonably priced venue. Everyone thought it was beautiful, and I agree.”

The indoor outdoor feel, gorgeous plants all around and delicate lighting created the perfect, dreamy mood.

“Blockhouse was the perfect venue for our wedding! The indoor outdoor feel, gorgeous plants all around and delicate lighting created the perfect, dreamy mood. They were very easy to work with. The space had a few limitations, like working around nursery hours and lack of dressing room, but it’s totally worth it. We rented an AirBnB close by to get ready and having a later ceremony really worked out for our summer wedding.”

Lakeside Gardens feels like one of those rare hidden gems that set the mood for a picture-perfect wedding. Spread across seven gorgeous acres, it’s got a peaceful lake, colorful blooming gardens, and plenty of space to host up to 300 guests.

Whether it may be an intimate wedding or a big celebration, the venue’s flexibility makes it easy to create the wedding vibe you want. And if you’re thinking about an evening event, the twinkling lights take the whole place to another level of magic.

One of the standout features here is the all-inclusive package. It covers essentials like catering, event planning, and décor setup—everything you need to take a big chunk of the stress off your plate.

The staff also gets a lot of love for being super attentive. Plus, there’s a charming bridal suite where you can get ready in style.

That said, you might want to book early during peak wedding months from May to September since the venue can get quite busy. This may lead to a less personalized experience as staff juggles multiple events.

Pros

  • Large outdoor venue
  • Stunning natural beauty
  • Large capacity
  • Highly reviewed staff
  • All-inclusive package
  • Variety of in-house services

Cons

  • A bit distant from Portland Metro area
  • Potential schedule conflicts during the wedding season
  • Limited indoor options
  • Higher pricing

An absolute gorgeous backdrop. Great for accessibility too

“What a magical place. Not only do they serve amazing food, but quite the experience. From the staff to the venue. Our coordinator, Noel, was an absolute dream, ensuring that we were taken care of and that our vision came to be. It was my dream wedding, and an absolute gorgeous backdrop. Great for accessibility too, it was the perfect place that made my husband to be very comfortable to wheel around in. The in house florist did a phenomenal job, our arrangements were astounding.”

The space is versatile too, comfortably hosting up to 200 guests for a seated dinner. However, it also works well for smaller, more intimate weddings.

Couples often rave about the staff here—they’re communicative, adaptable, and genuinely helpful throughout the planning process.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is they have a list of preferred caterers. Some find it a bit restrictive, especially if you’re working within a tight budget.

Even so, the venue’s stunning aesthetic and top-notch service make it a go-to choice for many Portland couples.

Pros

  • Adaptable staff
  • Modern-style venue
  • Versatile venue

We were in love with the space, and it was functional, beautiful, and on a 98 degree day it was highly air conditioned

“Using the Evergreen space for our wedding turned out the be a great choice! The staff (thanks Shannon!) helped us plan and manage everything very professionally, and the night ended up being amazing. We were in love with the space, and it was functional, beautiful, and on a 98 degree day it was highly air conditioned! Having loyal legion below was a night touch for cocktail hour and after party. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and how things worked. Lots of complements came our way for this venue choice!”

Tendue is a charming gem for couples looking to create a wedding that’s truly their own. Tucked inside a historic building, this cozy venue offers an open space with large windows that flood the room with natural light.

With room for up to 30 guests, it’s perfect for intimate weddings where every detail feels personal. The blank canvas design lets you get as creative as you want, making it a favorite for those who love to customize.

On the practical side, the onsite kitchenette is a nice touch for catering, and its location means easy access to local food options.

That said, the snug size might not work for larger guest lists. Some couples also noted that the rental price can feel a bit steep compared to similar options.

Still, if you’re after a small, stylish space with a ton of character, Tendue could be just what you’re looking for.

Pros

Rossi Farms brings a slice of rustic charm just a few miles from Portland’s city limits, offering couples a unique farm-style venue with a historical touch.

With picturesque views of Mount Hood and vineyards stretching across the property, it’s no surprise this spot is a favorite for weddings. The venue is spacious enough to host up to 300 guests, with indoor and outdoor options that make it easy to customize your celebration.

Couples often rave about the friendly, accommodating staff and the stunning backdrops for both ceremonies and receptions.

That said, the location’s distance from downtown can be a bit tricky for out-of-towners.

Its rustic vibe is also not for everyone—don’t expect all the sleek, modern amenities of a city venue.

But if you’re after a down-to-earth, nature-filled setting that feels like a true escape, Rossi Farms might be just the place.

Pros

  • Scenic outdoor setting
  • Large capacity
  • Ample parking
  • Full-service coordination
  • Friendly staff
  • Rustic vibes
  • Indoor and outdoor flexibility

Cons

  • Potential for inclement weather
  • Event package may not include all rental costs
  • Distance from Portland Metro
  • Lacks some modern amenities.

Everyone we spoke with adore this venue.

“My daughter recently held her wedding at Rossi Farms. The venue is near the Portland airport very close to I 205, but once you get there you wouldn’t even guess it’s so close to the city. The coordinator, Emily, is wonderful. She organized everything beautifully and focused on making my daughter and son-in-law’s day spectacular. There are two classic houses: one for the bridal party and the other for the groomsmen. Everyone we spoke with adore this venue. I highly recommend Rossi Farms for any event.”

We knew this was our venue from the second we saw it

“We had our dream wedding at Rossi! We knew this was our venue from the second we saw it, and every interaction we had just reinforced what a perfect choice we made. Coordinator Emily was amazing- she was incredibly organized, had great advice, was calm and collected throughout, and made everything SO easy. We absolutely adored working with her, and wholeheartedly recommend her. We literally cannot say enough good things about her.”
