Phoebe Rich Dermatology offers treatments to deal with a wide variety of issues including (but not limited to) acne, wrinkles, and cysts. They’ve been in the industry for 28 years so we know they have a lot of expertise in their hands. 

But beyond experience, we’re also looking for top-class client care from consultation to post-treatment care. And after checking in with their past patients, we can summarize the services as competent, reliable, and worth every penny. 

We were able to come to these conclusions through spontaneous visits and an online survey. Overall, we’ve observed how well maintained the space is, from every piece of equipment down to the waiting area. 

And if you love convenience like us, you may also find their patient portal a favorable addition to the experience. To give you an idea, you can send payments through the channel for ease (although we’re generally dissatisfied with how reliable it is).

The clinic also specializes in nails and nail diseases, so we reckon that they have the upper hand when it comes to nail-related conditions. But overall, to remain fair to the other services, clients can generally expect a positive outcome.

Starting from the scheduling to the timely follow-ups, we approve of every step they have throughout the treatment. Plus, as we’ve gathered, the doctors appear to have a warm demeanor, which builds great rapport with the clients. 

Knott Street Dermatology offers various skin care services, including surgical and medical treatments, to Portland clients. Other than that, they also have certain offerings that make the experience more convenient for clients.

To start off, as we mentioned, they have medical services as well as treatments that are for pure aesthetics (body contouring, facials, etc.) So basically, they can deal with both serious conditions and simple improvements.

For those concerned with service rates, they do have special coupons and discounts to save a couple of cash. Although, in general, we do find their prices reasonable, plus they can also work well with insurance companies (if covered).

We’re just not a fan of their customer service as we think they’re fairly underwhelming in this department. Plus, even sending payments through their website can be a trouble, although this varies per client depending on the case.

What we like instead is their technology and specialization. They focus on treating skin

cancer using Mohs Surgery – they even have an in-house pathology laboratory which makes the process easier and simpler.

Finally, we do like their HealthCare Support Portal which offers a lot of benefits (booking appointments and viewing your health card). It just makes it easier for the clients to connect with the clinic so that’s an obvious plus.

NW Dermatology Institute is a clinic that offers a wide array of services ranging from general dermatology to cosmetic services. With a great team of staff, we think they’re competent enough to provide good services.

To start off, we like that they have providers specializing in various conditions (hair disorders and skin cancer, to name a few). This makes it easier for all clients with different needs to look for different treatment plans specific to them.

In line with this, we also like that they have separate teams to deal with various matters. For instance, they have a laser & aesthetician team as well as a research team – makes processes more streamlined and connected.

Looking into their facility, we have nothing but high praises because we do love the clinic and its office. It’s clean, calming, and rarely crowded, so it already sets the mood for clients coming in for their procedure.

We’re just not a fan of their scheduling process as there are instances where appointments get canceled unexplained. Other than that, their customer service isn’t the friendliest when it comes to insurance processing.

At least, they do have a patient portal through myPatientVisit which makes everything more convenient for the patients. As we’ve established before, it’s not a unique feature, but it’s great to have these days when traveling can be tough. 

Goodskin Dermatology offers comprehensive dermatology services which are just one of the reasons why they’re on our list. Additionally, our survey also showed that they’re a reliable clinic, regardless of the condition involved.

In our opinion, clients subscribe to their services because they have a lot in store – clinical, surgical, and cosmetic services. With this in mind, we can reckon that they can provide immediate treatments to address a wide range of skin conditions. 

Another thing we find interesting about Goodskin is the way they implement individualized care tailored to every single patient. Based on the outcomes, we can say that the technology they have in their hands is able to provide sufficient medical care. 

Additionally, since the safety of the clients is vital for successful outcomes, the clinic does regular cleaning of their facility. Their caring support staff is trained on safety guidelines and daily cleaning procedures – normal but highly needed.

Speaking of customer care, previous customers vouched for their seamless assistance from the consultation process up until post-operational care. However, there were some (as of writing) minor issues regarding appointment bookings.

Other than that, there were also recorded matters about the rescheduling of appointments, which we find quite inconvenient for the patients. Fortunately, the clinic remedies the issues to return to smooth transactions until their needs are met.

Debbie Miller Dermatology’s experience in this field is what sets them apart from its competitors, at least in their area. The doctor herself has been providing dermatological care since 1989, so it’s a telling sign of in-depth experience.

Our favorite take from their clinic is the payment options they provide their patients. They offer payment plans for clients that are on a tight budget which gives them an opportunity to pay their bills through installations (to be discussed by their financial coordinator).

In addition to that, they are contracted with all the major carriers for insurance and billing, so this is a plus for us in the matter of inconvenience. Regular pricing of every service they offer is also, as we see, very competitive yet friendly and reasonable. 

Regarding the said services, they mostly provide treatments for simple rashes to cases concerning melanoma. While they encompass dermatological diseases, what we find interesting is the fact that they also center on the early detection of skin cancers. 

If there’s a complaint we could mention, it’s that their large and loyal patient base means that scheduling an appointment can be challenging at times. At least, the clinic says that they’re working to make improvements to better accommodate their patients.

Lastly, the survey we conducted reflected the clinic’s quick response to every inquiry they encountered. With this, we think they’re available for emergency services – good for unexpected dermatological problems.
