One thing we love about Stumptown DJs is how organised they are. They have detailed consultations that’ll walk you through the event to make a smooth flow.

This organised and structured approach is very important, especially for large corporate events like product launches or trade shows.

Aside from that, their deep roster of DJs is also reassuring. That means you’re not stuck with a one-size-fits-all DJ. You can choose which DJ to hire, depending on your preferences and budget.

Another plus is that their DJs can also handle MC duties, making things easier as you don’t have to juggle various vendors. Not all DJs can host an event, and we’re glad Stumptown DJ can.

DJs are also well-equipped. In fact, clients note that their DJs have a nice and cool setup, including turntables, a DJ controller, and reliable software.

We also found their pricing to be another strong point. It’s transparent and fairly priced compared to other DJs in Portland. This way, clients can avoid hidden fees.

The main downside? We think they’re more on the safe side of DJing. They aren’t that interactive or high-end, which isn’t ideal for premium corporate events that need a “wow” factor.

They do it by intentionally designing their setup related to your brand – not just the playlist. For instance, they can match visuals and lighting to your company’s theme. That makes their service more cohesive instead of a random one.

Speaking of lighting and visuals, they don’t just stop at DJing. They offer a full production, where you can get these all in one place. The good thing about them is that even though they have it all, they’re not salesy. 

Their 10 years of experience are also worth highlighting. We’re confident that they’ve already refined their production over the years, giving a smoother and more relatable DJ service.

We also appreciate that their DJs can double as strong hosts as well. That calls for smooth transitions and well-managed announcements. In fact, clients commend their DJs for keeping things polished throughout.

The only hitch is that their service sits on the premium side of pricing.

After looking into PDX DJs, the first thing that caught our attention was their straightforward pricing. No confusing packages and no hidden fees. They laid out their pricing clearly, which makes planning a lot less stressful.

We also love that they do live mixing instead of just completing a playlist. This is a big deal, especially when the event calls for a bit more energy once the vibe picks up. Thanks to their reliable equipment setup.

Incredible DJ

For a more interactive and full-on experience, our best bet is DJ Cutt Entertainment. 

They stand out the most when it comes to a very hands-on and interactive DJing, where the crowd becomes part of the show. 

Their DJs are great. They can read the room and insert music that goes well without being awkward. But apart from that, what makes their service better is their production elements, like special effects and visual add-ons.

Instead of just music and lights, you’re getting more coordinated effects that make key parts of your event more dramatic. 

Also, we find their package fairly flexible, making things easy to scale depending on how you want it to be.

The fact that they’ve been in the industry for 20 years says a lot about their service. They have a very structured planning process and great coordination prior to the event.

That said, while the production is strong, there have been mixed reports about the DJ’s attitude. A few mentioned that they had a dismissive experience with their DJ.

Pro DJs Portland shine the most in their hands-on and personal DJ service. Since it’s owner-led, there’s direct and clear communication. Nothing feels rushed.

Also, they put a lot of weight on planning. Clients mentioned that you can tell he has a system for how they accept and service their clients. From early consultation to final confirmation, their process is straightforward and hassle-free.

Performance-wise, their DJs keep things professional and consistent. They’re well-equipped and can also handle announcements. Their service isn’t flashy, but something dependable – just exactly what some companies need.

Although it’s a relatively small company, they’ve been around long enough to build a strong reputation. For us, that matters a lot because that means they’ve already handled different corporate events.

The only thing to take note of is that they don’t offer add-ons like other DJs. Think of visuals or special effects, they don’t have it. A bit inconvenient since you need to hire another provider for such a service.
