Speaking of location, we’re happy to note that the place is clean and quite relaxing even during busy hours. It does feel a bit crowded though when there are other dogs in line, but overall, the experience is generally positive.

Now, in terms of customer satisfaction, the shop does have a positive track record in the area. However, there are certain reports of poor service, particularly when it comes to setting appointments (others were dissatisfied with the grooming service).

In this type of approach, you can wash and dry your own dog using the products that they provide (they clean the mess too!) We see this as a positive thing since some pets may feel threatened or anxious towards others. 

But apart from this offering, their services also include professional grooming; flea and tick shampoo; and teeth brushing. They also have a la carte services where you can customize what you want to add to the package you get.

As for the cost, it depends on the weight and dog type – bigger breeds are naturally more expensive. To give you an idea, small dogs can cost up to $60 for full grooming, medium dogs can cost $65+, and large dogs can cost $75+. 

Talking about their facilities, they have a very clean and organized workplace, with specifically designated areas for grooming. They have designated areas for tick-filled dogs, different from their normal grooming stations (which prevents the spread of ticks).

The only downside to them is their skills in cutting dog hair as many clients felt vexed with their proficiency (e.g.)some parts of their dog’s hair were uneven. While that is the case, they still have substantial positive responses, which is a good thing.

For Heather’s Finest Dog and Cat Grooming, it’s important to set up an environment that is safe and comfortable for the pet. And we couldn’t agree more with that belief – in fact, it is their quiet and calm atmosphere that caught our attention.

Since the salon has only one groomer, it kind of worries us seeing that it might hinder them from catering to a lot of clients. But then again, it’s the competence to strive for superb service that matters to us at the end of the day, and they actually passed our expectations.

Now, let’s talk about the strict hour of appointment they implement, that we hundred percent support. In general, they ask that your pets get picked up within an hour after they’re ready for pick up, otherwise, you’ll pay a fine.

Frankly, the shop has been receiving mixed reviews that mostly refer to the inconsistencies of their service. Fortunately, nearly all of them pertain to their pamper service for cats, so, if we are talking about dog grooming at all, it is safe to say they are satisfactory.
