Pros
- Independent mortgage broker
- Paperless loan processing (optional)
- Has a mobile app and file transfer
- No up-front fees
- 100 years of combined experience
- Good customer service
Cons
- Minor issues on high rates
NW Premier Mortgage, Inc has a lot of the major things that we look for when it comes to mortgage brokers. They have a wide range of experience and are able to process loan packages under the most favorable terms for the clients.
For starters, the firm is an independent broker, meaning they’re not affiliated with any particular lender. This enables them to have better access to a slew of program options that are available at various rates.
In this kind of system, the client maximizes their chances of scoring competitive interest rates and loan terms. Plus, there’s an option to go for paperless processing which is a plus for convenience (although this is entirely up to you).
Knowing today’s lending climate, we also understand how important it is to have quick access to your mortgage information. Fortunately, the company also has a mobile app and file transfer
Which makes things much more seamless.
On the rough side, we do find complaints that customers were dissatisfied with the rates that they got. But to be fair, rates highly depend on individual and unique financial circumstances and the broker only narrows down the best options for you.
Finally, they have no up-front fees which makes their pricing system far more transparent than other mortgage brokers. On top of that, they’re fairly easy to contact too so communication is also a strong game with them.

Pros
- Over 20 years of experience in the field
- Licensed mortgage broker
- Specializes in helping you find your mortgage loans, home refinance, etc.
- Impressive track record (200+ clients)
- Handled clients from different social sectors
Cons
- Online application is quite demanding
Financing a home is a big deal, but it doesn’t have to be complicated – at least that’s what Mortgage Monkey does. To help you consider them, let’s tell you that they’ve been a mortgage broker for 20 years, which is quite an experience if you ask us.
To begin with, their staff are all licensed mortgage brokers so if it’s the professionalism and expertise you’re worried about, they definitely have what it takes. Client satisfaction is also a check, seeing that they have a 5-star rating on both Google reviews and Yelp.
Well, to give you an idea of their service, the firm specializes in helping clients get their desired mortgage loans, real estate loans, home refinance, etc. However, we haven’t been able to get a hold of the kind of influence they have on the market.
On top of it all, we personally find their portfolio an impressive one. And as a matter of fact, they have more than 200 clients (over the years of their business) taking their time to send them handwritten thank you cards, just as a way to show gratitude.
The process with them, on the other hand, is not what we expected. Although it’s a plus point for convenience (since they do have an online application), we’ve heard that it’s quite demanding – good thing they are reachable via phone at reasonable hours.
We think it’s worth mentioning that the company has also been known for having the majority of its clients from the LGBTQ+ community since we think it might help you decide somehow. You might want to ring them up if you feel much safer in this kind of space.

Pros
- Over three decades of experience in the business
- Certified mortgage consultants
- Strategic mortgage analysis
- Specializes in a wide range of loan options
- Connections to multiple local lenders
- Helps client to become mortgage pre-qualified
- Speedy approvals
- Free, no obligation estimates
Cons
- Fees are quite pricey
For your much-needed residential home mortgage loans, put Matt Jolivette – Associated Mortgage Brokers as one of the firms that can help you. With enough experience (founded in 1989), we reckon they can answer all your questions regarding the topic.
Their profile, specifically the wide range of loan options they can guide you with, is the top reason to consider them. From fixed-rate mortgages to low down payment options, they have connections to multiple local lenders.
Another thing that is quite likable about them, to us at least, is their dedication to helping their clients to become mortgage pre-qualified. This will surely get you to a smooth mortgage application process, eliminating potential inconveniences in the process.
Speaking of which, reviews show that with the help of this firm, many of their clients had an experience of speedy approvals for their mortgage loans. This is thanks to the daily updates they do with all the parties involved in the process.
It’s just that, their fees, on the other hand, are quite pricey, according to their clients themselves. However, with the kind of service they provide, we do think it’s just fair, but extra charges are another story (although it’s not something that clients mention).
To help you in budgeting, the good news is they can provide you with free estimates with no obligation. We do hear that after the deals, they still keep in touch with their clients with market trends and home value data, which is always quite nice.

Pros
- Mortgage calculate available online
- Up-to-date on fluctuations in value, market trends, and more
- Wide range of lending options available
- Connections with the leading local lenders
- Competitive fees
Cons
- Minor issues regarding charging of additional fee
Whether it’s a purchase, debt consolidation, refinance, or reverse mortgage, The Lindley Team can help you make smarter mortgage choices. Most especially, in guiding you to the right Portland Mortgage lender when it comes to financing your home.
We find the Portland Mortgage Calculator they provide, which isn’t unheard of by the way, very helpful. Obviously, through this device, clients can see what their dream home monthly payments will be – quite handy when dealing with estimates.
On another note, we understand how important it is that the team that helps is a team of experts, and this company did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it’s fascinating to know that they’re up-to-date on fluctuations in value and market trends.
To top it all, clients, as per the reviews, were mostly pleased with the closing costs they pay, which we find significantly less than the estimated price. We are also clearly delighted to know this, giving both of us a sigh of relief regarding any other fees.
However, there were some incidents of additional charges due to some sort of clerical error. To be honest, it kind of worries us, specifically on the effect of this on their transparency, that’s why we look at it as a big deal.
Despite this downside, we still believe that the firm can truly guide you throughout your needed lending process. It’s also a great thing to consider that they have communications with the leading local lenders and business partners, so you’re in good hands (we think).

Pros
- Knowledgeable about a wide range of loans
- On-point communications (responsive to inquiries)
- 24-hour policy of pre-approval
- Great with locking in acceptable interest rates
- Arranges any other paperwork
- Licensed under the California Residential Mortgage Lending Act
Cons
- Partnered lenders are not disclosed
- Rates/fees are not disclosed
To most of Eric Dunlap at Portland Loan Team LLC’s clients, it is through referral that they first heard of the said mortgage broker firm. Knowing this, we know for a fact that they offer an overall remarkable service in the area,
We’ve heard they’re great with communications and that obviously is what made their clients choose them. Actually, they’re literally one call away from answering all your possible inquiries and questions regarding all things mortgage related.
At the same time, closing a loan with their help is kind of efficient and quick – at least to our knowledge. Well, this is thanks to their 24-hour policy of pre-approval which we find really helpful in accelerating your chance for the offer process.
Speaking of what they can offer, they specialize in guiding clients to the right mortgage lender, especially for first-time home buyers, investors, conventional loans, FHA, and VA loans. We just don’t have any details relating to their current lender partners.
Moreover, through visits and interviews, we’ve learned that they are great with locking in an acceptable interest rate with customers, which we truly appreciate. On the matter of their fees, sadly they don’t disclose actual figures.
Finally, reviews also reflect that they are reliable with the arrangement of everything else you need: home inspection, notary, and paperwork collection. All things considered, we’re not surprised at all why their name is always there on referrals.
