Pros
- Nutrition services provider for large organizations
- Detailed nutrition coaching
- Primarily works with athletes
- Offers fueling consultations
- Offers initial nutrition consultation
- Provides customized plans
- Also offers running coaching
Cons
- Coaching through plans takes place virtually only
On Pace Wellness made our list for a variety of reasons.
For starters, we discovered that they have been trusted as the nutrition services provider for several large organizations in Portland. In our opinion, this reflects a high value of trust that even ordinary clients can enjoy.
They’re as detailed as any nutritionist when it comes to nutrition coaching, as shown by the positive feedback from their clients. Looking at it, it’s easy to say that the majority of them had an incredible learning experience, and best of all, achieved their goals with On Pace.
Speaking of their service, they provide an initial nutrition consultation before any coaching begins. First-time clients can expect a 60-minute session that includes an in-depth review of their health goals and concerns, allowing them to support individual needs.
In line with this, they have their own OWP nutrition coaching packages where they can establish a customized plan for every client they work with. This includes developing meal plans while keeping their clients’ preferences in mind.
Looking closely at their profile, they’ve primarily worked with athletes attempting to improve their performance and recovery. It’s no secret that this can be overwhelming, so it’s reassuring to know that they specialize in this area.
Lastly, if you want to take your fitness to the next level or stay in shape between seasons, they can be extremely beneficial as well. It’s done through a training set that’s tailored to your running experience and goals, so we’re sure there are no cookie-cutter plans.

Pros
- Provides a full range of nutritional services
- A nutritionist and dietitian
- Plans are designed to help reduce chronic inflammation in the body
- Tests and asses symptoms
- E-cookbook of anti-inflammatory vegan recipes available
- Many nutrition packages to choose from
- Offers intense nutrition coaching
Cons
- Most packages pretty expensive
We can tell that Fabulous Healing Nutrition & Wellness really gets to the bottom of the problem. This is thanks to their comprehensive tests and assessments that go over your symptoms to determine what’s going on in your body.
But that’s not the only reason we recommend them to you – it’s also because they provide a full range of nutritional services. From meal planning and nutrition counseling; to evaluating and changing plans as needed, they’ve got it covered.
Thanks to the clients that shared their stories with us, we can say that their services result in long-term changes in lifestyles. But what we believe makes them beneficial is that these services are all designed to help reduce chronic inflammation in the body.
Clients who use their services can also enjoy the e-cookbook that they sell exclusively to their patrons. This won us over as well, with a list of 73 delicious and simple anti-inflammatory vegan recipes with simple-to-follow and clear instructions – a definite plus in our book.
But if you’re looking for intense nutrition coaching, they also have a package that you can check out. It’s a 6-month long program that includes nutrition counseling, food relationship coaching, and support.
However, this is a VIP program and is limited, so if you have the means to acquire it (since it’s kind of pricey), then it definitely isn’t the one to be overlooked. The good news is that they have a less expensive package though it will still depend on your unique needs.

Pros
- Focus on minimizing the intake of processed foods
- Experienced nutritionists
- Also has registered dietitian nutritionists
- Contracted with a wide range of Oregon insurance companies
- In-depth nutrition assessment
Cons
- All nutrition appointments are only done online (as of writing)
Nourish Northwest believes that enjoying wholesome and delicious food is essential for optimal health. This, we think, best describes them in general, and it’s definitely the quality we seek in a nutritionist.
First of all, their staff is not only experienced nutritionists but they are all registered dietitian nutritionists. This means that they don’t just assess your nutrition status or make meal plans, they can also help diagnose your situation – something not all nutrition services can provide.
As mentioned, their general philosophy is to focus on minimizing processed food intake, which is why their goal is to work with clients in preparing their own food. If that sounds like an interesting trade to you, you may want to check them out.
We understand that most people think that working with a nutritionist can be costly, but Nourish Northwest already has a way to help you. In that regard, they’re contracted with a wide range of Oregon insurance companies for that additional peace of mind.
On another note, we find their system very convenient and will likely work with clients who have busy schedules. As of writing, all of their nutrition appointments are done online, but don’t worry since telemedicine is currently covered by the majority of insurance plans.
If your insurance plan doesn’t cover this type of treatment, we may as well inform you of their pricing structure, (which to us seems a bit pricey). An initial nutrition assessment will cost around $250, with follow-ups costing $150 each.
4. Grace Functional Nutrition
Services: Nutrition healing and counseling, wellness nutrition classes for women

Pros
- Primarily assess women’s health and nutrition needs
- Free consultations
- Nutrition counseling packages available
- Has a free hormone balancing meal plan on their website
- All services available remotely
Cons
- Nutrition services can be limited to male clients
Grace Functional Nutrition, unlike other programs that focus on symptom management and restriction, uses a functional medicine approach to address the underlying cause of the nutrition problem.
But, before we get there, they primarily assess women’s health needs, which can be a reassuring point for some. They specialize in dealing with painful periods, stubborn weight gain, digestive issues, acne, mood swings, and infertility.
They accomplish all of this by providing nutrition counseling, which of course, is a standard. This comes as a package, so all aspects that may need to be addressed can be conveyed even if you only pay for one package session.
However, if you’re on the fence about using their services, it’s a good thing they offer free consultations to help you decide if you want to commit to their game plan.
Going back to their counseling package, we find its design to be very efficient. You can expect many services: assessment, coaching, and everything you need to get the most support and accountability to reach your health goals.
There hasn’t been a single negative review written about them, implying that everyone they’ve worked with has been very pleased with the results. It’s just that we haven’t found any information on how they charge, which is a minor hiccup in the end.
5. SoulFuel Wellness

Pros
- Specializes in gut-related nutrition needs and services
- Incorporates both science and spirit in their approach
- Free gut-mood reboot coaching call
- One-on-one gut-mood reboot signature program is their core of work
- Offers “freebies”
Cons
- Nutrition services can be limited
- Has no price structure available
If you’re looking for a nutritionist that can help you with bloating, gas, reflux, and other digestive issues, then Kelleigh Kincaid of SoulFuel Wellness is your best option. She is a nutritionist as well as a wellness coach who specializes in gut-mood holistic nutrition services.
In her approach, she honors both science and spirit, so whatever treatment you believe in (which can be both), she is likely to have a solution for it. You can get a free 30-minute coaching call with her to get a sense of how it feels to work with her approach.
Even for a free call, we find it useful as you can already get clear on what factors are keeping you stuck in your healing. Plus, they can casually provide you with tips on how to get the results you want during the conversation.
Going in her direction will, of course, provide you with the full benefit. You can access their one-on-one gut-mood reboot signature program, in which they’ll work with you to create a profound transformation in your body and mind.
That one, in our opinion, can truly be the ideal solution to whatever gut problem you may have.
Plus, it’s packed with nutrition services such as food guidelines and preparations, personalized nutritional therapy protocols, professional supplement protocols, and spiritual coaching.
Finally, if SoulFuel Wellness hasn’t already been generous, they have freebies available on their website. Although it’s not something that can help you save money, it can be useful as it includes random guidelines about foods and must-haves.
