I was genuinely amazed by how many different options they had for outdoor fixtures. Whether you’re looking for sleek or charming wall sconces, they’ve got you covered.

The displays in the store are set up really well, so you can get a good feel for how the lights will look in your space. They even have a handy kiosk for browsing their entire inventory.

I also appreciate their in-store coupons that gave me free light bulbs and a nice discount. 

One of the best parts? The convenience. You can either pick up your order in-store or arrange for curbside pickup, which was super helpful. 

However, I do suggest keeping an eye on them while they pack your lights or considering alternative shipping options. Their quality control in packing could use some improvement.

I found plenty of unique options for my backyard that I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Their catalog is up-to-date with the latest trends, so if you’re into contemporary designs, you’ll find lots of options here.

What really stood out was their range of brands. With products from over 300 manufacturers, you can find everything from budget-friendly to high-end designer pieces. 

They also have multiple locations in Portland, including a distribution center for quick pickups and organized shipments. This is particularly beneficial if you need lighting in a hurry.

When I visited, the staff took the time to understand what I needed and gave me some great recommendations based on my style and budget. However, some friends who visited reported a less welcoming experience with the staff, so that’s something to keep in mind.

The customers we talked to were really impressed by their personalized service. They commended the staff for offering free consultations and energy assessments to ensure they got exactly what they needed.

While their prices might be a bit higher, they offer discounts for first-time customers and seasonal deals. This makes the store still a great option for quality lighting on a budget.

Sunlan Lighting Inc.’s cool selection definitely makes them unique. They’ve got these hard-to-find bulbs that you just won’t see at the usual stores. 

I was hunting for some vintage Edison-style bulbs for my patio, and Sunlan had exactly what I needed. They also have some unique string lights and patio lights that can totally jazz up your outdoor space. 

One thing to note is that their range of traditional outdoor lights isn’t the biggest. They’re more known for their eclectic and colorful selection.

Another awesome thing about Sunlan is their focus on energy efficiency. They’ve got a great mix of LED and full-spectrum bulbs, which is perfect if you want to light up your yard without racking up a huge energy bill.

The staff here, especially Kay, are super knowledgeable and friendly. They really know their lighting, and they even let me take a few bulbs home to try out before I decided.

Even though Portland Lighting Inc. doesn’t have a traditional storefront and is located in a business strip mall, its exceptional service more than makes up for it.

The staff members are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They really know their stuff and can track down exactly what you need if you provide specifics. 

Their outdoor lighting selection isn’t as extensive as some other stores, but their prices are competitive. You can buy bulbs in bulk or just a few at a time, and they are more than willing to accept checks if you don’t have cash in-hand. 

Many of their customers also really appreciate their fantastic recycling service for old bulbs. They offer it at a reasonable cost, which makes it easier for customers to commit to sustainable practices.

One thing that could make the experience even better is if they had a website where you could quickly search their inventory or catalog. It would also help more people become aware of their store.
