The Top 8 Reiki Healers in Portland
How We Picked
Value for Money
We weighed the cost and overall satisfaction that you might get from the service based on our own experiences and others’ input.
Range of Services
From massage services to Reiki classes, we included shops where you can also avail of other services related to spirituality and wellness, as most Reiki-seekers often look for similar services.
Expertise
We based this on the Reiki practitioner’s credentials, like their certification, past experiences, etc.
Environment
It’s important that you receive the healing powers of Reiki in a safe and nurturing environment. This means it has to be relaxing, clean, and peaceful.
Accessibility
We considered their operating hours and how easy it was to book a session.

Pros
- Also offers Reiki I & II classes
- Great atmosphere for healing
- Has a referral discount
Cons
- We received several messages about the place being hard to find
- You have to be a client to book a class
We included this in our list of best Reiki therapy options in Portland because of how pleasant our experience was with the session.
The other clients think so too because a lot of them mentioned feeling light afterward as if it helped ease their stress.
We think that it’s important to note that Julie, the practitioner behind Reiki Says Relax, specializes in neurological & pain disorders, major life changes, PTSD, and childhood trauma.
As soon as we entered Julie’s space, there was already a sense of calm because of the overall environment. She was very welcoming when it came to our questions and even provided us with what we could do to continue our healing after the session.
It was easy to feel comfortable with her because she was also quite friendly.
She’s also a certified teacher at Dancing Jaguar’s Spirit Caamp and a member of the Northwest Reiki Association and International Center for Reiki Training.
We also love how she offers Reiki I & II classes which could come in handy if you want to become a healer yourself. The downside is you can only book it if you’re already an existing client because of high demand and limited space.
If you’re only looking for a reiki session then this won’t be an issue.
Another thing to consider is we received a review about the place being hard to find. We believe this is just a one-off incident because a lot of people didn’t have any problems with it.
Overall, we recommend Reiki Says Relax because of how Julie gave us what we were looking for in a session – to relax and to be more attuned with ourselves.

Pros
- Open everyday
- Wide range of services
Cons
- The room has thin walls
- Few negative reviews about their massage service
Aside from Reiki, you can also get other services that will help with your wellness here.
They categorize their available services into four parts: massage, energy medicine, emotional medicine, and soul coaching.
As you might’ve guessed, Reiki is under energy medicine. Their offering is an hour-long session with their Reiki Master, Robin Bodhi.
Throughout her career, Robin has been working as a bodyworker, and she has extensive experience in various massage techniques. She also has over 25 years of experience as a bodyworker.
She’s a certified conscious freedom coach, Hakomi practitioner, and reiki master. Helping clients with their chronic pain, trauma, PTSD, and other difficulties they might be facing is her objective.
Aside from Reiki, she also offers deep tissue massage, Swedish relaxation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, auto injury recovery, somatic therapy, and PTSD and trauma care.
Having the chance to book a reiki session with Robin, we can say that she was a professional who does her job well.
She was very welcoming because she listened to our concerns without judgment. It was also easy to see that she was filled with knowledge from years of experience.
Her other clients seem to agree. They sent us messages saying that they had a pleasant experience with their session with her.
They felt a lot more relaxed afterward compared to when they first came in. They did, however, mention that the walls were quite thin so sometimes you can hear what was happening in the other room.
We find this to be a possible hindrance if you want 100% of your attention on the session.
There were also a few who complained about their massage service, saying it was painful. It’s possible that this depends on what kind of massage it was or how hard it was.
Overall, we recommend Equilibria Wellness to those who are not only Reiki enthusiasts but also to those who are looking for further relaxation and exploration of one’s self.
They are open every day, so you can avail of their services even if you have a 9 to 5. That’s another thing we like about them.

Pros
- LGBT-friendly
- The therapist has various training backgrounds
- Affordable rates
Cons
- Only open 4 times a week
One of the reasons why we included this in our list of best reiki therapy in Portland is found in the credentials of the therapist, Jak Fessenden BSN/LMT.
He has a background in nursing, anatomy physiology, several styles of massage therapy, and energy healing.
His approach makes him use somatic touch, which is a technique that helps the body recover from trauma with the help of touch.
Having experience with nursing, aside from reiki and other spiritual healing, he also treats medical conditions.
Our experience with our Reiki session with Jak was nothing but pleasant. The place has a homey vibe to it which immediately made us feel more at ease.
He did his best to make us feel comfortable before starting by explaining what will happen in the session.
We were even able to work with him to figure out what was best for us, making it a collaborative effort.
A lot of people who sent us messages raved about his massage service, so we also wanted to try that on our next visit.
What could be a concern for some is that they’re only open 4 times a week. This might not be aligned with a lot of people’s availability, so we wanted to note that as well.
We think that it would be nice if they were available at least one day on the weekends.
Considering that, we still think Sacred Ground Massage is worth recommending. If you’re looking for someone with knowledge of spirituality and science, you might have just found your match.

Pros
- Overwhelmingly positive word of mouth
- The healer has a variety of backgrounds that he integrates into the healing sessions
Cons
- Availability based on work hours
The services Love Being offers are 75 minutes of Colonic Hydrotherapy, 3 hours of Shamanic Colonic, and 90 minutes of Shamanic Energy Work.
Colonic Hydrotherapy is the cleansing of the colon using filtered water. They use the Wood’s Gravity Method which is the most gentle and effective form of colonic hydrotherapy.
In Shamanic Colonic (Shamanic energy work + colonic magic), they integrate tools such as reiki, sacred songs and mantra, drumming, crystals, and many more.
Shamanic energy work is similar to that without colonic magic. It draws from Reiki, vibrational medicine, and more.
One of the things we liked about Love Being was Alec, the person behind it, had various backgrounds that made him an all-around healer.
Aside from Reiki, he also knows colon hydrotherapy, herbalism, Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, and many more.
He has over 25,000 hours of hands-on experience and it shows a lot in his work because of the many satisfied clients he has.
We couldn’t find anyone with a complaint about his services and rightly so. After our session with him, we felt renewed, relaxed, and illuminated making us believe that Alec has a gift for healing.
One thing we do think needs improvement might be their work hours. Maybe they’ll be more reachable if they extend their hours on some days.
Overall, we recommend Love Being to anyone looking for a safe healing space under the hands of someone who knows a lot about it.

Pros
- Has a wide range of services
- The practitioners available have a lot of skills
Cons
- A couple of complaints about a less-than-welcoming receptionist
The main reason Heart Spring Health initially caught our attention is because of the range of services they offer.
Aside from Reiki, they have other services such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, flower essence therapy, gua sha, postural therapy, shiatsu massage, and a lot more.
If you want to avail of their Reiki, you can choose from their 3 therapists, each with their own treatment modalities.
Dr. Derek Leiss, ND’s treatment methods include polarity therapy, soft and deep tissue, trigger point release, Munay-ki, etc.
He also offers other services such as Western herbal medicine, LGBTQIA+ sexual health, and wellness, gender-affirming care, elder care, and more.
Whereas with Laurel Ash, ND, MSIMH, you can also receive flower essence therapy, functional & specialty lab testing, lifestyle counseling, etc.
Their 3rd therapist, Laura Allmacher, RN, LAC, is not only a licensed acupuncturist. She is also an astrologer, a nurse, and natural health provider.
She also treats mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
The practitioners are unmistakably knowledgeable about different forms of healing, so you can easily choose which one’s the best for you.
We were impressed with what we experienced with them because they catered not only to our physical health but also to our mental and physical well-being.
The atmosphere wasn’t exactly homey, but we can say it was relaxing.
Their previous clients who sent us messages mentioned how they were able to get just what they were looking for and they couldn’t be more satisfied.
Something we’re not sure about are the few notes we received about a rude receptionist. Since their experience was over a year ago, they may have a different receptionist now.
Nevertheless, we recommend Heart Spring Health, especially to those who are looking to try different forms of care.

Pros
- Natural Gift and Personal Experience
- Certified Reiki Master
- Customized Healing Modalities
Cons
- Not that many services
The Energy Healer, LLC, led by Britny Cellerini, is a practice that offers Reiki healing and multiple healing modalities.
What’s great about Britny Cellerini is her journey of self-healing and overcoming chronic pain, depression, and anxiety gives her a deep understanding of the challenges individuals may face.
Her personal experience enhances her ability to connect with her clients and offer empathetic and intuitive healing.
Similar with others, Britny’s certification as a Reiki Master through Natural Healer reflects her commitment to professional development and acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective Reiki healing.
But what sets them apart is how they offer multiple healing modalities to customize the healing experience for each individual. With them, it is recognized that different individuals have unique bodies and needs, and tailoring the healing process can enhance its effectiveness.
Unfortunately, aside from Reiki, they only do Chakra Alignment, Energy Healing, and Tarot/Oracle which is not really an extensive range of services.
