Their selection of glass doors is impressive. We chose frosted glass, but they also offer clear, rain, and low-iron options for different styles.

Their glasses are heavy-tempered, which feels incredibly sturdy. They also offer low-maintenance options like ShowerGuard to minimize the need for constant scrubbing. 

The team was highly attentive from start to finish, and their advice was spot-on for our home. It’s clear they have a strong grasp of local styles and trends. 

The only hiccup we encountered was occasional difficulty reaching them. If they could improve their responsiveness to calls, it would enhance the overall experience.

First off, this company has been around for over 30 years, so you know they have the experience to back up their work.

They provide various shower doors, including framed, frameless, and semi-frameless options. They even offer custom designs along with installation and repair. 

Many of the customers we talked to also mentioned their cost efficiency. Without a traditional retail storefront, they keep overhead low, allowing them to offer competitive pricing without compromising on quality.

Their customer service also received a lot of praise. They’re prompt, professional, and friendly from consultation to installation. Plus, customers feel secure knowing they are bonded and insured.

On the downside, there were some instances where others had trouble contacting them or scheduling appointments.

First off, the level of customization they offer is impressive. From picking out the size and shape to choosing the finish and hardware, they make sure everything is tailor-made to fit their customers’ vision. 

Additionally, they also offer a wide range of glass services, making them a convenient one-stop shop in Portland. 

The quality of the materials they use is also top-notch. Whether it’s clear or frosted glass, you can tell they don’t skimp on durability or looks.

They offer warranties that reflect their confidence in their work, which is always a big plus for us. 

However, there have been occasional hiccups, such as wrong delivery, which required customers to pick up the correct order personally. Plus, the lack of free shipping for nearby orders is quite a bummer.

Shower Co. really lives up to its name when it comes to custom fabrication. They cut and assemble everything in their shop, ensuring a perfect fit for their customers’ specific shower setup—no generic sizes or awkward gaps.

The range of styles they offer is impressive, from framed to semi-frameless to completely frameless options. One customer even raved about them meeting her request for custom heights up to 96 inches and helping minimize visible metal for a sleek, modern look.

The team boasts over 60 years of combined experience. Unfortunately, the installation service occasionally falls short of expectations. 

While the doors themselves are beautifully tailored and look great, some installations have been reported as less than perfect. One of the customers we talked to also complained about them not being accommodating when he reached out for adjustments in the installation.

A-1 Glass and Mirror is another highly reputed shower door store in Portland. Countless residential and commercial customers have trusted them with their bathroom renovations over the last 50 years.

When it came to customization, A-1 also offered a wide variety of styles, including frameless and partially framed doors. Plus, their large display makes it easy for customers to picture how different options would look in their bathroom. 

They also don’t just focus on shower doors too. They handle all things glass, from windows and mirrors to tabletops and more.

However, despite their extensive service range, some customers have experienced frustrations with delays, particularly during the installation process. These delays have occasionally marred an otherwise positive experience with the company.
