Alameda Cleaners’ four-decade-long experience really impressed me. Being able to provide excellent service for that long is a great feat that they should be proud of.
Like me, you’d surely be impressed by their thorough process in cleaning furniture. They’ll do so many things to your beloved items before getting down to the actual cleaning. They’ll pre-vaccumm, pre-treat, and even pre-groom your furniture.
What’s amazing is that they can adjust based on your furniture’s given instructions. If their default cleaning process doesn’t align with or might harm your item, they gladly follow the instructions.
What I love most is that they offer discounts. Their upholstery cleaning services are available in two packages, where you can get up to a 15% discount (not bad!).
That said, some of their customers told me that the cleaner didn’t remove shoes when entering homes, which they didn’t appreciate. I recommend preparing indoor slippers and telling the cleaners immediately to change into them upon entering the house.

When I called back to schedule the service a couple months after receiving the quote, Rhona not only remembered me but kept the same price from the quote. If you find something you’d like done in addition to what you initially requested, they can almost always accommodate. No chemicals, and a fresh light sent is all that lingers. Love them!”

Most of the Oregon Chem-Dry customers I spoke to said that their cleaners work fast. They clean sofas, mattresses, and other types of furniture in just over an hour.
What’s great is that they utilize a carbonated cleaning process, which effectively eliminates excessive moisture and harsh chemicals.
The process uses microscopic, carbonated bubbles that penetrate deep into upholstery fibers, breaking down and lifting away dirt.
Aside from effectively removing dirt through their unique process, they can also remove pet urine stains and odor. They provide levels of stain and odor treatment depending on whether your furniture has suffered a light or heavy contamination.
Their availability every Saturday is also a huge plus. It gives people who are busy on weekdays a convenient day to get their upholstery cleaned.
The problem is that their cleaner arrives way too early sometimes. One of their customers told me that the cleaner rang her doorbell at 1 PM, while the agreed-upon time was 4 PM. Yup, way too early!

When it comes to upholstery odor removal, they use a special enzyme deodorizer. This special enzyme effectively removes not just pet stains and odors, but also destroys microorganisms that are left behind even after applying traditional cleaning methods.
What’s also great is that they do in-plant upholstery cleaning. If you have heavily soiled upholstery that’s difficult to clean in just a one-time visit, they can take your items to their facility.
This appointment-only service is perfect if your furniture is made of high-end fabric.
Lastly, I love how quickly they responded to my email inquiries. Because of it, I’ve already gathered enough details about their services before even meeting them.
The only drawback is that they don’t clean leather fabric. This is a big loss for one of the best companies in town!

Nevertheless, no business is perfect. Some of their customers were disappointed in the late arrival of their cleaners. Although it’s often only around 30 minutes, it’s still disappointing.
