However, you should know that Appliance Guys caters to a high volume of clients. There’s a possibility that some calls and requests will be overlooked, so we suggest packing a lot of patience and being assertive once you do get a hold of the front desk.

We also find the company website lacking information regarding their process and additional services. It would have been nice if they have a dedicated page for each service, as it can help attract more clients. 

With over 20 years of experience and over 290 locations across North America, we see Mr. Appliance being in a league of its own. The best part is that the company has a franchise in Rip City, bringing its expertise to the land.

Although they’re good at their job, we love that the company emphasizes the experts’ human relations skills. 

Dryer repair services involve interaction, and Mr. Appliance is trying to assure its prospective clients that they will have a pleasant experience if they hire its technicians.

And from the feedback we have gathered from old and new clients, we can say that most of them were satisfied from start to finish.

We only find it a bit disappointing that they don’t have a list of prices available online. Since they charge a flat rate, knowing this information ahead of time can better help those who are shopping around and comparing fees.

You also need to book an appointment, which can take time depending on how many slots are already filled. Hence, the service isn’t the one to call if you need emergency repairs.

Gary’s Appliance may think it’s unnecessary since they serve repeat customers. But if they post their price list, we believe it would attract new clients and would better support their claim of being honest and transparent. 

Also, Gary’s Appliance doesn’t have an online booking form, meaning you need to call them to set an appointment. A single communication channel may mean the possibility of calls getting unanswered, which can be disappointing if you have an emergency.

All Around Appliance is a company that truly stands by its name. The repair service has a long list of brands its team can handle, plus it reaches far and wide, serving most of the Portland metro.

But what we love most is that for all its broad knowledge and capability, All Around Appliance remains grounded and customer-centric. 

Most of the clients we’ve talked to praise the service for going above and beyond while being affordable. The team is also quite flexible with schedules, to the point that they can insert smaller jobs into a fully booked week.

What we would have liked more is for the company to post its rates online. Doing so will make it easier for clients to compare prices. 

Also, All Around Appliance only does residential services. If you have a laundry business, a repair shop that does both residential and commercial repairs will be better.
