Based on our assessment, Young Electric LLC is one of the best choices when it comes to highly experienced technicians. They have been certified by many companies, including Tesla and the Oregon Washington Community Association Managers (OWCAM).

Their 40+ years of experience in the business alone is a great sign of their reputable standing in the community. Plus, they offer a lifetime warranty on breaker load and a 5-year warranty for the labor in all other installations – a pretty great combination. 

Speaking about their services, the company has home services, from whole-home surge protection to wiring for A/V systems and everything in between. Besides residential services, they also offer commercial and industrial services.

Their rates are quite high according to some clients, but most of them are pretty happy with the service quality. Fortunately, they also offer plans which can be customized to the client’s budget so we’re pretty happy with that.

The only downside to them is that communication may be a bit hard, even for general inquiries. It may take days or even weeks for them to return your messages due to how many clients they deal with.

Nonetheless, with a consistent quality of work at competitive rates, this company is something worth checking out. They have a wide range of experience in their hands too so it’s safe to assume that they can deal with various issues.

Mr. Electric is another well-established electrician company with almost 30 years of experience. In our opinion, some of their best advantages are their customer service and wide range of services for clients.

For starters, they provide 24/7 customer service which is a big plus to anyone who needs immediate help. On top of that, they can also work around various matters ranging from electrical safety, installation, and lighting

The company also caters to both residential and commercial clients, at different prices, of course. But in general, we like their rates because they provide an upfront pricing that allows clients to know in what range they need to pay.

According to some of the clients we’ve interviewed, they guarantee that the price that they’ve quoted will be the same when the electrician arrives. This is because the electrician that you contacted will be the one responsible for your needs.

Another great thing about them is their attention to detail and their belief in getting the job done right the first time. This is naturally a plus for us since electrical work is a major and complicated matter for all clients.

However, some services could be costly and it’s advisable to confirm with the electrician whether the pricing is correct. Still, as many clients attested to, the quality of work is excellent and one of the best they’ve had.

Green Box Mechanical is a service company that covers more than electrical work, it also has plumbing and HVAC. In our opinion, although they aren’t focused mostly on electrical service, having an all-in-one package is a great deal.

The great thing about their electrical services is they try to understand the needs of their clients and create a plan based on that. In addition, they would send their electricians at the most convenient time for the clients. 

They also offer an additional diagnostic test and present a repair plan to their clients to decide on what to do next. As for their installations, they first consult your house and decide how the installation is possible then install the correct fixtures depending on the result.

The downside to some of their services is that communication can be a problem. Some clients said that certain requests get forgotten over time and you’d have to recontact them again to set it up – quite a hassle.

As for the price range, they could only issue a quote once you’ve contacted them, and even then they might not give you the exact price until they see your home. However, many clients said that they like their rates.

They charge by the job and not by the hour which is a big plus since it guarantees higher-quality work. They never rush their work and you wouldn’t worry about low-quality rushed fixtures that could lead to awful and even dangerous errors. 

With the word ‘advantage’ on their name, it is not a shocker for us that Advantage Electric is one of the many in their area that provides top-notch electrical services. As we’ve checked, they have all the right tech to get the job done.

Whether it’s new circuits, lighting, switches and dimmers, or even plugs – their electrical contractor would be of great help. Considering they are highly trained and are aware of troubleshooting techniques, customers often receive care for every service.

In addition to their troubleshooting techniques (which is one of their many specializations), the company also does safety inspections, code corrections, and electrical repairs. This makes them a full-service electrical shop, which is convenient for most.

Moreover, we also highly recommend them if you have a large construction project. This is because the company has experience in these kinds of jobs, plus, as mentioned, they’re highly equipped with great tech and equipment.

There is just a tiny hiccup for they rate quite high, although it appears to be fair given the level of effort per job. To add more to it, they also take time to discuss the cost vs. benefit of a specific work, which is what wins us over.

As icing on the cake, senior and veteran customers can enjoy the discounts they offer (depending on the service). Other than that, warranties are also guaranteed, which by the way, are often extended assuming it is available.

In our opinion, Callahan Electric’s attention to detail is why they have lots of repeat business and many referrals. With 15 years of experience in the industry, they are relatively younger, but they exceeded our expectations.

Their services include HVAC wiring, lighting, any major electrical projects for new constructions, etc. –  all done with in-depth quality assurance. To apply that, they intently listen to the client’s needs, giving us a friendly impression of them. 

We also heard how less expensive they are than most shops due to their low overhead. Unfortunately, as of writing, we are not informed of any available promos or deals from them, as well as things concerning warranties. 

However, you can ring them for a free estimate on your project – be it a small or a big one, they can provide you with an outlined quotation. This, in our opinion, would be of great help also to know various ways to tackle a project, including its pros and cons – cost-wisely. 

On the other hand, when it comes to responsiveness, previous customers told us how quick they are to answer inquiries. Although there comes a time (which is very frequently) when they couldn’t diagnose what the problem was. 

Good thing, they are very well aware of any alternatives for every situation they encounter. Plus, given that they knew the scope of work, they would be very happy to explain the details making the final product the cleanest workmanship you’ll see at obviously a reasonable price.

We find their rates affordable. We like that though affordable, quality isn’t compromised.

What’s more is they simply charge what they work for on-site, unlike other companies that have a single lump sum estimate.

Their service is quality and reliable. They’re simply quick, accurate and precise with the work they do.
