1. Hillsdale Orthodontics

Website: hillsdaleorthodontics.com
Address: 1501 SW Sunset Blvd.
Contact: (503) 246-6785 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hillsdale Orthodontics stands out because Dr Leemin and Dr Handick work together on every patient, so you get two experts for the price of one.
They use indirect bonding technology, which gets your brackets ready behind the scenes and cuts down your time in the chair. This is perfect if you want treatment that’s really tailored to you.
A client mentioned how helpful their low-pressure acclimation visits were for easing nerves before starting any real treatment.
On top of that, they offer MASPE, which helps fix bite problems without needing invasive surgery. They even have options that focus on improving breathing and sleep.
Just keep in mind that their office is closed from Friday through Sunday, which makes it harder to book if you need weekend appointments.
They have been nothing but generous and welcoming
Throughout my years with Hillsdale Orthodontics, they have been nothing but generous and welcoming. Now that I have completed both braces and Invisalign, I will miss frequent visits, but also look forward to my 6 month check ups. Big thanks to Aimee, both doctor Leemin and Handick, and all the ladies at the front desk.

I highly recommend this local business
I needed braces so I asked several of my students with braces who their orthodontist is and if they like them. Hillsdale Orthodontics was the office mentioned most often with positive reviews. Dr. Leemin and all of her colleagues are kind, knowledgeable in cutting-edge orthodontics and I have always been able to get in the same day if I have a wire poking or band pop off a bracket. I highly recommend this local business!

2. Ainslie Orthodontics

Address: 511 SW Tenth Avenue, Suite #13075
Contact: (503) 227-6537 | Fax: (503) 227-3778 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday, 8:10 AM – 5:00 PM | Tuesday-Thursday, 7:10 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday, 8:10 AM – 12:00 PM (emergencies only)
Dr Ainslie has been a trusted local favorite for more than 30 years, which gives you real peace of mind about their orthodontic care.
Not long ago, we spoke with a past patient who couldn’t stop talking about how comfortable and truly invisible their custom lingual braces were during treatment.
The clinic also uses self-ligating hardware, so you don’t have to mess with rubber bands, and there’s less friction on your teeth. They use high-tech tools like the Carestream 3600 CAD system, making the whole planning process gentle and precise.
It’s nice that they offer virtual appointments, too, letting you skip some trips to the office.
Just know that Dr Ainslie works solo, which limits schedule flexibility. Also, the downtown high-rise location means you’ll have to deal with city traffic.
Can say enough positive things about our experience
I have never been to a medical office where everyone is so happy and helpful. Dr Ainslie was amazing with my daughter and made her feel good about getting braces. Can say enough positive things about our experience.

They are really sweet
They are really sweet The doctor is a big white, bald man but he is also really nice. Katalina was my hygienist and she was really sweet and fun. It is pretty expensive. I remember my braces treatment took a while but now I have perfect straight teeth. 🦷

3. Portland Orthodontic Group

Website: smileforreal.com
Address: 742 NW Murray Blvd.
Contact: (503) 289-1992
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
If you want to skip a bunch of office visits, Portland Orthodontic Group really stands out with their Dental Monitoring app. You just scan your teeth from home to get progress updates directly from the team.
Before you even start, they’ll check your breathing and jaw growth, so everything is tailored to you in a really holistic way. Safety and convenience are a big deal here, too, with hospital-grade air filtration and contactless lockers out front.
That way, you can pick up extra rubber bands or retainers whenever you need them without having to step inside. They even offer a cool kids club that helps track your child’s development before braces are needed.
On the flip side, they close up completely on Fridays and weekends, and during the week, they’re only open until 4:00 PM.
4. Cascade Braces

Website: cascadebraces.com
Address: 16330 SE Stark St.
Contact: (503) 666-8000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Fixing your teeth is super affordable at Cascade Braces thanks to their flat-fee pricing; just $2,998 covers everything. If you’re eager to get started, they offer same-day setups, so you can walk out with your new hardware right after your consult.
A free initial exam is available, too, and clear retainers are included at the end. Plus, they guarantee you’ll see your final results in 12 months or less, which is pretty impressive.
The doctors went through three extra years of residency, so you’re getting true specialist care.
But keep in mind, you’ll need to put down a $292 payment to kick off their flexible financing, so it’s not totally zero out-of-pocket. Even so, since there are no interest charges, they’re still a solid spot.
Highly recommend

I would definitely recommend to anyone to come to Cascade Braces.

5. Senestraro Family Orthodontics

Website: senestrarofamilyortho.com/location/orthodontist-in-portland-or/
Address: 5216 SE Woodstock Blvd.
Contact: (503) 228-1945
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Lunch Daily: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
To take the stress out of comparing prices, Senestraro Family Orthodontics offers a price-matching guarantee that’ll actually beat any similar competitor plan in the metro area.
If you’re ready to get started, you can begin treatment right after your consultation, so there’s no waiting around. The staff is great at sharing smart at-home tips, like soaking stained rubber bands in salt water to freshen them up.
Kids will have a blast, too, thanks to their token reward system, which gives points for keeping teeth clean and encourages good habits. Plus, if you refer a friend, you get entered into their annual Disneyland trip giveaway, making it feel like a fun community.
The main downside is their long lunch break; the office closes for an hour and a half every weekday afternoon, so midday appointments are pretty hard to snag.
The doc is very good at what he does
I’ve had braces before when I was younger. Needed to do it again as an adult. This place is very professional and I can attest from previous experiences this place is top notch and provides high quality braces. The doc is very good at what he does. Well I have 10 months to go!
Thank you.

They are super welcoming
My daughter (8 y/o) got her braces, and an expander here. She said they answered all her questions, and helped her feel calm through the whole experience. They are super welcoming and have fun incentives for being at scheduled appointments. She says they did a great job!
I also appreciate their electronic communication (texts) making it easier to deal with questions during the work day.
I’ll be getting my aligners there in two weeks!
