In terms of delivery, we’ve found they have a simple yet fantastic arrangement. They offer a free twice-weekly delivery service with no extra charges, which is great for those who don’t have the time to visit their store.

Finally, we think you shouldn’t be concerned about their customer service (for now), as evidenced by the positive feedback they’ve received. In fact, clients were pleased with the outcome, which has resulted in them becoming repeat customers.

This list of the best dry cleaners can’t be completed without the well-known dry cleaning business in Portland –  the Pearl District Cleaners. This is simply because they’re known for delivering efficient work, and we’re here to explain why.

Before that, we think that the only thing missing about them, which kind of frustrates us, is their lack of an official website. Although, this doesn’t stop clients across the city (even those outside of the Pearl), from acquiring their service.

As a matter of fact, our evaluation revealed that they’re fully booked for the majority of the week, which signals the popularity of their service. After speaking with their clients, it’s undeniably due to the high quality of their services.

Now talking about their service, they can dry clean all types of sensitive clothing, particularly specializing in the removal of tough stains. 

They also offer this at competitive prices based on the standard prices they disclose. Though we can’t 100% attest to this yet because some clients complain that they were overcharged (we’ve yet to cover multiple reports to confirm this!)

On the other hand, we believe Pearl District Cleaner’s competitive advantage is its one-day dry cleaning service, which not all dry cleaners can provide. Well, the dry cleaning process usually takes between 24 and 48 hours, so getting it done within a day is pretty impressive.

Unfortunately, while we’re pleased with the quality of service they provide, there have been reports of rudeness from their staff. This automatically raises a red flag for us, so take a warning in case you’re met by unwelcoming faces.

Bee Cleaners has three Portland locations: Downtown, Uptown, and the South Waterfront. And, while all of those are well-received by customers, we’re here to highlight the best of their Uptown location (which is also our favorite).

First things first, their dry cleaners have decades of experience, so quality handling is almost a surefire guarantee. Not to mention, we saw that they’re attentive to every detail of the dry cleaning process, which reassures us of their service quality.

When we say they’re very attentive, we mean they pay close attention to every small process. From spotting stains, and sorting; to actual dry cleaning and drying – even up to pressing and finishing – overall giving the garment a dry-cleaned appearance.

Other dry cleaning establishments may not put as much effort into final inspections, but Uptown Bee Cleaners hits our sweet spot by doing so. In fact, their final inspection includes minor repair work and button sewing, which, to our surprise, is free of charge.

However, we still find comments about how some of their clients experienced losing a few clothes when their things were delivered; others with some little trace of stains. This is why we’ll say they can still be inconsistent with their work sometimes.

But the good news is that they received positive feedback from their clients for their prompt response to such situations. And they even give them either complimentary service or a price reduction, which we believe compensates for the negative output.

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly dry cleaning service (although most are now), T.S. Cleaners could not be more environmentally friendly. Actually, it’s one of their best qualities that has won us over.

T.S. Cleaners often bring out a safe cleaning system, since their method of dry cleaning is free of toxins. Their process is carried out using the cutting-edge Union HL cleaning system, which is both environmentally safe and healthy, unlike traditional cleaning methods.

Moving forward, we like the fact that their business generally centers around one goal – to completely satisfy their customers. There’s actually not one negative comment about the quality of their dry cleaning service when we looked at their reviews and spoke to customers.

The majority of them were pleased to have their garments returned in like-new condition, with even minor stains removed. These kinds of comments, if you ask us, truly reflect their superiority in providing top-notch dry cleaning service.

Now, most of the poor reviews they receive are all about how they can be pricey. Despite their price guide being transparent (as their prices are available on their website), there have been complaints about how they can be unpredictable at times, charging extra costs.

On the bright side, T.S. Cleaners are very experienced in all of the services they offer, so we believe that whatever they charge will be well worth it in the end. However, if you’re looking for a low-cost dry cleaner, we’re afraid they’re not the choice for you.

Artistic Dry Cleaners & Laundromat’s 30 years of experience and competitive pricing keep their customers coming back to them. And, aside from their excellent dry cleaning services, they also have an on-site self-service coin-operated laundromat, which may come in handy for some.

Speaking of their dry cleaning service, they can clean a wide range of garments, from regular clothes and coats to comforters and tablecloths. However, turnaround times can be slow, with most customers receiving their items after two or more days.

Looking at their profile, we recommend Artistic to those looking for a place to clean bridal gowns and dresses, as they specialize in it. 

But this does not imply that they are unable to dry clean other types of clothing because, as mentioned, they have experience with almost all of them.

The shop, as we’ve seen, also has a friendly atmosphere. So if you’re a pick-up and drop-off kind of person, you’ll be pleased to have them as your go-to dry cleaning place – plus, every member of their staff is welcoming and approachable.

The only problem we’ve learned about them is what the reviews call an “unfair” damage policy. Customers complained about how difficult it can be to get their money back in the worst-case scenarios that they even caused

Fortunately, their dry cleaners rarely lose or damage items, at least that we know of, so that’s kind of a relief. After all, we suggest always being aware of the terms and conditions of any business, and in the case of the Arctic, we think they should review theirs.
