Full Potential HRT Clinic caters to mostly male clients, but they also accept female clients for hormone replacement therapy and treatments for sexual health.

Despite the clinic only being established in 2015, its doctors have treated thousands of patients combined. Adding to that level of credibility is their great record of patient loyalty, and patients usually stay with them for years.

From our research, almost all patients were happy with the level of care they received from their doctors but also appreciated how helpful and kind the clinic staff was. Scheduling or adjusting your appointments won’t be a problem here.

They have six doctors in their clinic, and while we can say they’re all competent doctors, it’s possible that you and your doctor won’t be a good match.

However, the clinic is happy to refund you if you’re unsatisfied with your current doctor and allow you to choose another doctor you think will be a better fit for you.

Other than hormonal treatments and treatments or therapies for sexual health, they also have aesthetic services like microneedling and hair restoration treatments.

Their treatments don’t come cheap, and while they do take insurance, your insurance may not cover all of their treatments offered. Thus, we encourage you to check beforehand to minimize out-of-pocket fees on your end.

Dr. Elizabeth Stephens has nearly 30 years of experience in the medical field, and other than being an endocrinologist, she also specializes in treating patients with diabetes, thyroid problems, and metabolic problems.

What patients like best about her is that she takes time in each of her appointments, and patients don’t feel as though they are being rushed. They also report her to be a good listener and a caring doctor who they feel genuinely cares for them.

Her office staff is also up-to-date when it comes to follow-up consultations, which is great if you’re someone who easily forgets appointments!

Another advantage is that her clinic accepts 27 private insurance plans but unfortunately doesn’t accept Medicare or Medicaid. But that’s a pretty long list, so it’s more likely that she accepts your insurance plan.

Most of her patients are happy with the level of care they’ve received from her, with some having been patients for years. There are, however, very few patient complaints about some miscommunication from both ends.

Fortunately, her clinic did its best in ameliorating this experience by contacting the patient regarding their complaints and clarifying the miscommunication.

It’s that dedication to proper communication that convinces us Dr. Stephens is a trustworthy endocrinologist, which is why she’s got a spot on our list.

Dr. Patricia Burford is another seasoned doctor with over 25 years of being an endocrinologist! She mostly works with patients who have thyroid problems, osteoporosis, and diabetes.

An advantage she has is that she’s affiliated with seven different hospitals, which will be helpful to those who suffer from chronic illness or may have to be confined. 

This way, you can be sure that Dr. Burford will be your attending physician should that happen.

Her long years in medicine means she’s built a great record of patient loyalty, with some patients choosing to keep her as their doctor even if they’re moved to a farther area.

Her patients appreciate the kind of care she gives, as she’s thorough in explaining to them their condition, the medication or treatment they’ll need, and is always eager to answer their questions.

The complaints aren’t about her but rather her clinic staff. Several patients have complained that the staff was unhelpful in addressing their concerns and took time to call back, if at all.

Others also mentioned that it was hard to set an appointment with her due to the problems with her office staff. You’ll be lucky if they pick up your call right away, unless you’re willing to call several times to set an appointment.

Dr. Diana Negreanu has over 20 years of experience and is affiliated with both the Adventist Medical Center and the Providence Portland Medical Center.

What patients like about her best is that she’s a great listener and lets her patients speak without cutting them off. She also adjusts to the patient’s level of comfort and doesn’t force them to take tests if they’re uncomfortable.

She also takes a more conservative approach to treatment should it be appropriate. Some patients reported that they were prescribed dietary changes first before they were to take any medication.

She explains the patients’ conditions to them well and answers any questions they may have. It’s this approach that lets her patients feel that they are genuinely cared for. 

Her clinic accepts 21 different private insurance plans but unfortunately doesn’t accept Medicare or Medicaid.

It’s likely that your insurance provider is on that list, but she does require a referral from an internist if you’re interested in consulting with her. However, it’s still worth the effort in calling her office to ask if they accept new patients.

Overall, we consider her to be a competent endocrinologist, even if it may require an internist’s referral to have her as your attending physician.

Dr. Gerald Youker is perhaps the most seasoned doctor on this list, with almost 50 years of experience in the medical field! This means he’s got extensive experience dealing with endocrinological diseases, especially those relating to the thyroid.

His long years of experience mean he’s been able to build a good record of patient loyalty, with some having been his patients for over two decades. 

The reason why patients choose to stay with him is because of his conservative approach which takes the patient’s overall health and wellbeing into consideration, not just the endocrinological issues.

Patients appreciate how his appointments aren’t rushed and he takes the time with each patient, whether it be in answering their questions or making a diagnosis for the first consultation.

His clinic, however, is currently not accepting new patients due to the current volume of patients they already have. If you’re in urgent need of an endocrinologist, it’s best to look at other options on this list.

Should his clinic accept new patients again, he only accepts new patients by referral, so you may need to ask your internist for one.

Another factor you may want to consider is that Dr. Youker is close to retirement, and if you’re looking for a doctor for your long-term care, he may not be able to provide you with that.
