The main reason why we added Mani & Pedi Nail Salon to our list of top manicure salons in Portland is because of how long polish lasts when applied by them. 

We discovered this when we reached out to their clients to get more in-depth views aside from our own. Most of them mentioned how their polish lasted for weeks. 

Some even said that even after a week, their nails still look freshly manicured. 

We agree with their observations because the same thing happened to us. We did what we normally do daily and yet our polish seems to have lasted longer compared to some places we’ve been to before. 

We don’t know how this nail salon does it, but we’ll take it! 

Another thing we like about this place is that it’s easy to book an appointment online. All you need to do is go to their website and select which service you’d like. 

Speaking of their services, they offer more aside from mani-pedis. They also have waxing and massages available. 

For their waxing service, they have eyebrows, upper lip, underarms, and more. Whereas in massages, they only have foot massages with hot stones. 

Fortunately, we think the ambiance is good for relaxation, so you don’t have to worry about whether you’d be able to relax or not. You can sit back and let the technician or therapist do their job. 

Their clients said that some of them found this nail salon to be more expensive than some of the places they frequent. We think this is something to consider before choosing them.  

If you need a manicure salon where you feel more at home because the technicians remember your name, this might be the place you’re looking for. 

They also address customers by their first name, which a lot of the clients we’ve talked to find pleasant. When we asked why it made them feel more important since the salon has a lot of customers. 

When we tried it out for ourselves, we were most happy with the environment because it’s so clean. We think cleanliness helps with the quality of the salon because they’ll be doing things that deal with hygiene. 

We also want to avoid any infections that might come with dirty equipment. 

A lot of clients we talked to were also quite pleased with the service this salon provides. We found out that this was mostly because if you’re not happy with the service or the output, they’re quick to rectify it while looking happy doing so. 

During our experience, we didn’t notice anything that should be corrected on how they did our nails, so we’ll just take the customers’ word for this. 

There were quite a few points we’d like to also, so you can better consider your options. 

One of these is that there are no other services available here aside from a mani-pedi. 

Additionally, a lot of clients we talked to who are regulars mentioned that more often than not, this place is bustling. It might be best to set up an appointment before you go to ensure that you will have a spot.

There’s also no dedicated parking available, so you might also want to go a little earlier to avoid the hassle of parking. 

Overall, we still recommend them because they know how to provide great service to keep customers happy. 

One of the advantages to choosing Deluxe Nails & Spa that we think a lot of people are looking for is that the nail techs can follow the reference pictures you show them. 

Quite a few clients of this nail store mention this. We think that a technician as skilled as this can be quite hard to find, so we found it to be worth noting. 

Another thing we’ve noticed is that they have a lot of nail polish options, so we were free to choose whatever piqued our interest. We found that other nail salons we’ve gone to in the past lack this aspect, so this made our experience pleasant. 

Deluxe Nails & Spa also have other services available aside from a basic mani-pedi such as cosmetic makeup tattoo, lash extension, lift and tint, and waxing. 

They also offer a complimentary drink during every visit. Their options include water, organic green tea, coffee, and red wine/white wine. If you’re a group of 5 or more, they can even offer a free bottle. 

If you have a nail emergency, they’ll most likely be able to accommodate you because they accept same-day appointments. 

However, we still advise you to book an appointment if you can to be 100% sure. That is if it’s possible for your situation. 

While this nail salon offers a lot of good points, some of the clients we talked to said they experienced poor customer service. This is because the technicians weren’t enthusiastic about re-doing the work if customers weren’t satisfied. 

Some also mentioned that staff made them feel a little unwelcome. 

We’re not quite sure why this is the case. They may have already further trained their staff because we had a completely different experience. 

Nevertheless, we think this nail salon is worth trying out if you’re looking for a skilled technician who can do more detailed work. 

When we were able to interview the people who had experiences at Adore Day Spa, we found out why people opt for their services. 

We believe it is the nail technicians’ attention to detail. This might be the case because a lot of their clients said that the technicians were able to copy references and sometimes even made a better interpretation. 

Additionally, the way they apply nail polish is so precise, which pleased a lot of their clients including us. 

Aside from the meticulousness that people liked, it seems that they also prioritize their clients. We found that this is because even though there are a lot of people on the line, the technicians didn’t rush anything. 

They still gave the same service as the one you’ll receive on a normal day, which we think is a plus. We’re sure you also want to get the same treatment where technicians would make sure you’ll still get the highest quality of their service since you’re a paying customer. 

We think this is one of the reasons why Adore Day Spa has been operating for 8 years now. They know how to take care of the customers and provide good quality work. 

However, we were also able to talk to a few people who weren’t quite as satisfied as the others. 

A few mentioned that the service was poor because of rude staff. Others mentioned it was on the expensive end. 

For us, we’d like to comment on how few of the available services here are. If you’re just looking for a mani-pedi, then this might be for you. But if you’re also looking for additional services, there might be other places for you. 

One of the things we love about New Life Nails & Organic Spa is how responsive they are. 

Other people seem to agree because when we had the chance to interview some of their clients, most of them said that they liked how easy it was to talk to the staff here. 

The staff was skilled at communicating, which made it seem like they were attentive to the needs of their customers. 

We think this is also why a lot of people found it so easy to book an appointment with them. You can do it either via phone call or through their website. 

When we went in for our appointment, the first thought that came to mind was that the nail salon was quite peaceful. Even though there were several people inside, everyone seemed to mind their own business. 

It’s possible that depending on the time of day you come in, it may or may not be as peaceful. 

The salon was also quite clean. We felt reassured that they are also thinking about their customers’ health. 

While we loved our experience here, we think there’s something they still need to improve on which is their website. 

Not only does it look outdated, but the design also makes everything look cluttered. It doesn’t help provide an easy reading experience. 

When we asked the other customers, a few of them said the nail salon should improve their service. This is mostly because of problems with the customer’s appointment. 

We found that this doesn’t happen a lot, but it still might be something to consider.
