One of the things we like most about them is how convenient their location is. They’re situated within 10 minutes of the Portland International Airport. 

We also noticed how affordable their rates are. Their prices for storage of standard vehicles start at $10. 

However, long-term parking rates for RVs and other bigger vehicles will depend on the size and duration of storage. For an exact quote, you can fill out their online form or reach out to them via email, we find them very responsive. 

They give out discounts for prepaid long-term storage, so make sure to ask about that if you’re planning to store your vehicle here for more than three months. 

Aside from good prices, they’re also very secure. They have 24-hour surveillance, so you won’t have to worry about the safety of your vehicle. 

They also allow clients to access their cars 24/7. Although mostly known for their vehicle storage services, they also offer a round-trip shuttle service to and from the airport and around the hotels in the area. 

They also can maintain your vehicle while it’s in storage, which is another bonus. They offer a variety of car detailing and wash packages. 

Aside from that, they also offer a service plus package that offers overall maintenance of your vehicle. They’ll charge the battery, inflate tires, maintain fluid levels, keep engine seals from drying out, and provide winterizing. 

One thing we noticed is that their website is outdated, so it’s a bit hard to look through their services. They’re also not upfront about their pricing, so make sure to ask for a quotation first so you know how much you’ll need to shell out. 

Key Storage has been in business since 2006, so they’ve been around for quite some time. If you’re looking for an outdoor storage facility in a gravel yard, they’re a great option for you. 

We like that the whole yard is a securely fenced facility with a working alarm and an on-site manager who oversees everything. The manager lives on-site, so we like that they’re easily accessible in case you need assistance with anything.

They’re conveniently located in St. Johns near downtown Portland. They’re close to I-5 access both Northbound and Southbound, Highway 30, and over the St Johns bridge, providing easy access to highways and boat ramps. 

They also don’t just store recreational vehicles (RVs), they also store construction equipment, different models of cars, food vans, trucks, motorboats, buses, trailers, and sailboats. 

It’s a large lot that’s easily accessible with enough space to move around. The pricing is also reasonable, with rates starting at $110 per month. 

They have a variety of payment options, you can pay on-site or via their QR code online. 

We do wish that they offered maintenance services as well. If this is a primary consideration especially if it’s for long-term storage, it might be best to look into the other facilities we have on our list. 

Their website is also very outdated, so it’s a bit difficult to check out their services. If you have any inquiries, it’s best to give them a call or send them an email. 

Serving for over 20 years, Acme Storage has built a name for itself as a storage facility in Portland. We checked out their services because of their proven track record and positive customer feedback, and we weren’t disappointed. 

We like how secure their facility is. They have an on-site manager readily available for any concerns. 

They also have 64 motion-sensitive security cameras and keypad access to the units. Plus, they have an electric fence with coded gate entry, which makes us feel at ease. 

Once you go there, you’ll also see that it’s a well-lighted facility with paved parking and lots of available storage space both covered and uncovered options for your RV, boat, or car. 

We’re not the only ones who think they’re great. In fact, for two consecutive years, they have been named among the best storage units by Expertise.com. 

We just wish they had more information on their websites and that they were more upfront about important details such as pricing. 

Still, we think they’re a great option especially if you’re looking for a convenient and easy place to store your belongings or vehicles for a limited time. 

They don’t offer maintenance services, so we think it’s best if you don’t store RVs here for extended periods of time. 

Money Saver Mini Storage is conveniently located off of I-84 next to the City of Portland Fire Department Training Center. Aside from their outdoor RV and boat parking, we like that they offer a variety of storage units ranging from 25 square feet to 525 square feet. 

They’re a one-stop shop for all your storage needs. We also appreciate the different security features they have like individual door alarms, multiple security cameras, and individual access coded security gates. 

Professional management also live on-site. So they’re always available should you need assistance with anything. 

We found them very approachable and friendly, so it’s easy to talk to them and bring up concerns. Should you have any complaints, their customer service is top notch, based on our experience. 

Premises are also very clean and well kept. We think that the staff are doing a great job with maintaining the place. 

We also noted that they offer free move-in trucks with new rentals, which is a great bonus. We like that they have drive-up access as well. 

Payment is very easy, with multiple online payment channels. There are also no deposits or administrative fees that you need to worry about. 

As for the rate, they have a one year rate guarantee, so you know exactly how much you need to shell out. 

However, do note that unlike other companies where you can access your stuff 24/7, you’re only able to access your unit or RV from 6 AM to 9 PM everyday. 

We also noticed that RV storage slots disappear fast, so make sure to book a slot as soon as you can to ensure you’ll get one. 

Extra Space Storage is known to be the second largest operator of self-storage facilities in the country. They have been around since 1977, making them one of the oldest storage facilities in the city – and for good reason. 

After checking out their Portland branch, we were impressed by the quality and efficiency of their services. It wasn’t hard to see why they’re a well-respected company in the area. 

For one, they have a very accessible location. They can be found near the intersection of SE 82nd Ave and SE Crystal Springs Blvd. 

They have plenty of slots for RV storage, from what we’ve seen. They offer large 10×20 outdoor parking spaces that can easily and conveniently store recreational vehicles, campers, trailers, and other large vehicles. 

They have a lot of provisions for safety and security like electronic gate access, security access to your floor only, and video surveillance. We like that they have three types of RV storage available: covered, indoor, and outdoor. 

Aside from different storage types, they have different sizes you can choose from for your RV. They have extensive experience so they already have a set process for this, they’ll help you find the best possible storage unit for a reasonable price. 

Based on our assessment, their rates are upfront and reasonable overall. There are no hidden charges. 

Although they have set access hours, they have options for 24/7 access. You can ask the site manager for more details so you can arrange for this. 

They have a convenient loading dock, elevators for easy access to upper levels, moving carts, and even wide-drive aisles to accommodate large moving trucks and vehicles. 

Plus, their staff are so easy to talk to. They have a huge team who can help you if you have any concerns during your move. 

One thing we noticed, however, is management has pretty inconsistent hours. So make sure to check the website before setting the appointment. 

There are also a few reports that the access codes for the units can be faulty at times, so that’s something to take into consideration.
