The 5 Best Termite Control Services in Portland That Can Effectively Drive Pests Away

Treatment Range and Versatility: We evaluated whether companies offer comprehensive options (liquid barriers, wood treatments, and bait systems) to tailor solutions to specific property needs.

Inspection Quality: We chose providers that conduct detailed interior and exterior evaluations to spot subtle structural damage and precise infestation points before treating.

Real Estate Compliance: Property sales often require documentation proving the absence of wood-destroying pests. So, we favored companies that supply detailed Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) reports necessary for smooth transactions.

Eco-Friendly Practices: Safe applications matter when treating residential structures near family and pets. We prioritized providers using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques that minimize chemical exposure while effectively targeting colonies.

Living in the Pacific Northwest means enjoying lush greenery, but our damp climate also creates the perfect environment for unwanted pests, like termites.

These nasty buggers can quietly cause thousands of dollars in structural damage to wooden home foundations before you even notice them. So, finding reliable protection is essential whether you’re buying a historic bungalow or managing room rentals.

Lucky for you, we spent weeks talking with local exterminators, inspecting treatment plans, and digging into service methods to find the top pest specialists in Multnomah County.

Here’s our curated list to help you locate the best termite control in Portland for your property’s specific needs.

Building trust through patient explanations

We also had a termite scare a few months ago – the technician that came out was so helpful in taking the time to explain to me (and my housemate!  He explained it both times in such a kind and helpful way!) the differences in appearance between termites and ants, and why he was pretty confident we only had ants.  Can confirm: he was right.  I built a lot of trust with this organization after that experience, and am happily having them come out quarterly to keep our house bug situation under control.

No pressure, just honest advice

Easy to schedule a free consultation, exterminator was early, nice and professional.

We were worried about termites we saw in wood in our backyard and saw some flying. The exterminator looked at the piece of wood that had the termite and told us what kind of termites they were, damp wood termites, and that we shouldn’t be worried as the wood needs to be at an 80-100% saturation to get them. If we keep the house dry, no problem. Didn’t push anything or try to sell/upsell. Wonderful experience
