In terms of the overall service, we do like their response rate as you can typically expect a reply within the day. They also now offer virtual consultations using 3D imaging which is always a fun (and convenient ) alternative to in-clinic visits.

The Waldorf Center for Plastic Surgery’s intensive consultation process earned them this very spot on our list. Truth be told, this stage is an integral part of the surgery as well as the healing process, and they managed to pass our standards.

But first, we’d like to share how pleased we are with their team of certified plastic surgeons. Amongst them are two board-certified plastic surgeons, certified physician assistants, and other medical practitioners (all known for having successful track records).

Now, talking about their consultation process, patients can expect to spend 60 to 90 minutes at their office on the day of their appointment. This, for us, is enough time for them to communicate with the clients and discuss desired results.

Speaking of which, they provide a wide range of surgery options – procedures on breast, body, facial and reconstructive surgery. Thanks to their thorough step-by-step process in every procedure, there have been positive reviews regarding postoperative care.

Additionally, they pride themselves on a peaceful and inviting environment that helps maintain their facility. On top of that, we became aware of their use of modern equipment in their clinic, which we see obviously a plus point in our book.

There’s just this tiny bit of a problem: since we’ve learned that their staff is particularly attuned to the concerns and needs of women, it is hard for the interested male patients to get their service. They still cater to male clients though, which is a good thing.

Mia E. Skourtis, M.D. specializes in full range (but mostly facial) cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Apart from this specialty, the surgeon has a lot more to offer that we think enabled her to become prominent in the area.

Based on the actual reviews they’re receiving, we can conclude that the lion’s share of their clients were fascinated by the outcome of their surgery. Not to mention the notable post-op care they give their patients, at least as we’ve heard.

Additionally, we appreciate the fact that their staff is also trained in the most current surgical approaches. In a way, this gives us an impression of them having the latest resources that could obviously gain them credibility – a very important factor in this field, honestly.

Actually, the clinic is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which surely is an additional advantage compared to others. This is, not to exaggerate, a major point on our part since it’s the only medical board to certify plastic surgeons.

Moving on, besides the fact that they are well-respected when it comes to their consultation process, they also have discounted consultations. Patients can receive 15% discounts on surgeon’s fees, which is a great help financially.

However, there were claims in which they were told that the said discount is eligible for larger procedures only. This is surely quite a drawback, however, we don’t see this as a deduction to the quality of their service at all.

Dr. Michael Kim Facial Plastic Surgery is known for his meticulous approach to facial enhancements, which helped establish his reputation. Actually, he’s a premier rhinoplasty surgeon in their area, and take note, the most experienced one, by volume.

Given that rhinoplasty surgery is what he’s known for, it’s safe to conclude that they are not just an ordinary facility. We know this for a fact since rhinoplasty is considered the most complex plastic surgery operation, so their facility must be up to par.

They deliver all kinds of rhinoplasty, from primary ones to more complex fixes. Other facial surgery operations are also available for your choosing, since, after all, they provide aesthetic enhancements for the whole body.

On top of it all, they also met our standards when it comes to customer care. Their current portfolio reflects the way they treat their patients – from consultation and preparation up to post-op care – and we do find it incredibly on-point.

We observed it specifically in their post-op care where surgeons offer general guidelines after every procedure. Additionally, we also do appreciate the specific instructions they provide you pertaining to your individual case.

Lastly, we found out that most of their previous clients had experienced healing from scars and incisions after 2 to 3 weeks, which is a very fast recovery (still depends on the kind of surgery). Thus, showing us how really decent they are with their job.

Dr. Hetal Fichadia is a double board-certified, comprehensively trained plastic and reconstructive plastic surgeon in Portland.

We find her training background impressive as she completed her general surgical training at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine. She later finished a highly competitive plastic surgery program at Oregon Health and Science University.

She specializes in breast augmentation, breast lift, mommy makeover, facelift and tummy tuck surgery. We think she’s an excellent option for those especially looking to get these procedures done.

What we like about her is how she has a reputation of providing beautiful, natural results from her procedures.

What’s more is she’s very compassionate and understanding towards each and every patient. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and reassure patients too.

Her office can also assist in taking care of insurance concerns so patients don’t have to wait for long for their surgeries.

She also has a wonderful PA, Elizabeth Holloway, who is as knowledgeable as she is! We think they’re a great duo who will surely keep everyone at ease.

The only complaint we’ve come across is that her front staff can be a little more friendly towards patients. All in all, we highly recommend!
