We found it quite easy to work with Minuteman Press. In fact, one of the main reasons we included them in our list of top printing services in Portland was that transactions with them can be done pretty much entirely over the computer. 

When we interviewed some of their past clients and returning customers, they also said they go to Minuteman Press for its high-quality printing and service. In fact, many of them noted that the prints remained intact even after several washings. 

It was easy to talk to them, in our experience, so they never really made a mistake about what we asked for. 

Variety-wise, they print on different materials including books & booklets, grad appreciation signs, coupons, flyers, menus, postcards, and more. At this range, it’s safe to say they can meet any printing needs.

Moreover, they also have bindery services that include comb binding, saddle stitching, lamination, cutting, etc. Now, in combination with the other services, we think they’re a good one-stop-shop if you need the complete printing package.

We also love that they have graphic design services – all you have to do is tell them what you want and they’ll do the rest. We saw that they have the eye to provide a satisfying output, although manage your expectations as this is not a full graphic design shop.

We appreciate how they made graphic design services easily available. At least, you can easily fine-tune details that you may not have caught on the first look – a professional touch wouldn’t hurt. 

Now with all these positive things we liked, we do hope that they can offer walk-in services in the future. We think that transactions could be done much faster in person rather than online, so it’s a nice service to add.

Nevertheless, we do think that it’s easy to navigate their website and if we’re not in a rush to get printing done, a short wait is okay.

Phoenix Media: Printing Services has been around since 2002.

Their goal is to be the best eco-friendly printing service and advertising service in Portland. And over the years, we think they’re close to reaching their mission – at least from a consumer’s perspective. 

What we loved the most is their range of their digital printing capabilities. They said that they can print from 50 posters to 100,000 magazines, making them ideal for small batch orders or big bulk projects at a time. 

They have numerous printing options such as offset, heat set, web press, digital and inkjet printing, and more. 

They also have a graphic design department that can assist you with your design needs. Plus, they have experience working with national companies like Vitamin Water, Tony Hawk, House of Blue, etc. 

Moreover, they offer several printing services such as banners, rack cards, silk bookmarks, booklets, and stickers – the list is endless!

When we received messages from previous clients, some of them were small business owners and non-profit organization members. 

They commented on Phoenix Media’s affordable pricing, which makes them go back to this place again and again. 

Overall, they’re high-quality, affordable, and eco-friendly. They almost have everything we’re looking for a in respectable printing service!

However, we do see some room for improvement.

There were some complaints from their clients about slow turnaround time. This could be due to different factors such as the volume of the printing and the number of customers at that time, but we thought it was still important to consider. 

All in all, we enjoyed our experience with Phoenix Media because of their low-cost way of providing excellent service. 

We added AlphaGraphics to the list because they’re one of the few who accept rush jobs. 

They also work fast even if you don’t need them as soon as possible. Actually,  a lot of people have commented on their quick turnaround time. 

When we reached out to their previous customers, most of them said that AlphaGraphics was quite accommodating to their needs.

They were very helpful and even offered suggestions to make the quality of their work much better. 

Regarding our own experiences, we found them to be excellent communicators who understood what we wanted immediately. 

We think this is to be expected because they’ve been in business for over 25 years. We believe that they have all the experiences one needs to provide great customer support and satisfying results. 

They have a wide range of services from blueprints and site plans, copy services, manual and catalog, and custom stationery. They also have wall and window graphics, backdrops, banner stands, booth displays, literature racks, and more.  

With all these, it’s no wonder some of their clients have made AlphaGraphics their go-to printing service. 

However, if you’re looking to get something printed in small batches, they might not be for you since they only accommodate large batches. 

But if you need a lot of printing done, you may want to drop by and request a quote from them.

Premier Press’ goals are to provide quick and efficient service and to find solutions to an otherwise impossible job. And based on what we’ve seen so far, they’re doing a pretty good job to achieve this.

They’ve been providing quality print and design for 48 years to several organizations nationwide. 

They offer offset printing, digital format printing, and large format printing, and top it off with their finishing services. 

Their finishing services compliment your work and make it more unique and pleasing to the eyes. With their great attention to detail, it’s expected that they can make this work effortlessly. 

They also have a production side wherein they offer custom apparel for brands, photo studios, and branding. 

We found their service to be quite great. With the level of service they have in their hands, we can tell that they’re a team of experts who can get the job fast. 

As proof of their efficient work, we’d love to mention a specific review about a client that didn’t receive their orders via mail. 

After a short wait, the team was able to come up with a solution by reprinting everything to guarantee customer satisfaction even if the error wasn’t their fault. 

We find that a lot of companies are not willing to do this, so we found that their customer service needs recognition. 

We do think, however, that there are some areas in which they need to improve. 

For example, while they provide unique printing services you won’t find in a lot of places, we find them quite lacking. We think it would be better if they have a wider range of services they could offer. 

They were also quite pricey, which is expected given quality of the work they provide.

Overall, we recommend Premier Press to anyone who’s looking for a printing shop that has proven the quality of their work for decades. 

This locally-owned printing shop has been operating for three generations. 

While the type of work is quite different from what it was in the 40s, they’ve proceeded to continue that legacy by providing the same level of efficiency and work consistency.

They provide several printing services such as billboards and banners, storefront windows, walls, and vehicles. 

They also have a variety of services when it comes to events, trade shows, and retail like banners, floor stickers, popup displays, fabrics, and more. 

When we availed their services, we found them quite helpful in providing different options for the outcome. This helped us decide more confidently, given the range we’re presented with.

A lot of people have commented on how easy it was to work with them because you can just send them the file and you’ll have the output in no time. 

What we think could use some improvement is their customer service. When we interviewed some of their previous customers, there were a few who weren’t satisfied with the quality of their care.  

Some customers even got the wrong orders. Obviously, this is a negative note from us since we’re quite particular with errors.

It’s also quite pricey compared to some printing services, so we think it’s important to consider this. 

Nevertheless, we were quite satisfied with our experience with Oregon Blue Print. We think their strongest point is their turnaround time and the quick process it takes to deliver to them what you need to have done.
