One of Veenhuizen’s clear advantages over most competitors is its years of experience. They’ve been painting houses for almost 40 years (37 to be exact). If practice makes perfect, they sure practiced a lot throughout those years.

Throughout the years, they’ve painted an impressively wide range of cabinets. Some types they can handle include kitchen, bathroom, and built-in cabinets.

It’s also impressive that they can do a wide range of finishes. They can put on traditional paints, custom stains, and varnish. They can even apply hybrid finishes.

We also love that they offer off-site service. They have a facility where they take units, effectively avoiding disruption to people’s daily routine.

Beyond cabinets, they also do exterior and interior painting. We find them a great option for clients who wants to repaint their entire home or those who just built a new house.

That said, we’re just concerned with some people’s rants about them canceling an appointment without an apparent reason.

We really love that they offer several paint options. They use four brands, the largest number on this list. Customers can choose between Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, and Romabio.

We also noticed that their team is very responsive to questions. They answered all our inquiries via email promptly, just like what most of their customers told us.

What we loved most about them, though, was the three-year transferable warranty they provide. Aside from it being relatively longer, it’s also great that it can be transferred to a fellow cabinet owner.

The only drawback is that they have a high initial deposit, which is 50% of the project’s total cost.

CertaPro Painters is the ideal company to consult for people looking to refresh or modernize their kitchen cabinets. 

They have an excellent pre-painting preparation. Before painting, they carefully remove cabinet doors to sand their surfaces. Then, they apply primer for a more durable finish. 

While those steps may sound like the bare minimum, not every company takes the time to do them carefully and properly. 

Another strong point is their communication. Many of their past customers we spoke to stated that their painters informed them about each step, from preparation to the actual painting.

CertaPro also won us for their thorough post-clean-up. Doing a great job is one thing, but leaving their customers’ homes dirt-free is next-level professionalism.

The only weak point is that they sometimes work with subcontractors. This makes project results inconsistent.
