Kicking off our list, Portland Movers Company is one of the most well-established and experienced commercial movers in Portland. The company started as a small packers-and-movers venture and grew into a full-service moving business. 

From what we gathered, though, they retained the same hands-on and customer-focused service they had when they were a small company.

The crew is very responsive. Clients noted that the team kept them updated before the moving day, leaving them with no confusion about schedules and next steps. This kind of proactive communication is what we’re after.

The services they offer are also comprehensive. From packing to setting up the entire office, they can handle it all. It’s very convenient to have a team manage the entire process, as business owners don’t have to hire someone else to help with packing.

Additionally, we appreciate their straightforward quotes. The pricing is reasonable too, with clients sharing that the efficiency of the team is worth the price they charge.

Just note that they charge for cancelled appointments.

Royal Moving & Storage Portland makes commercial moving in Portland somewhat less worrisome. It’s a fully-insured and bonded company, so business owners don’t have to worry about being left alone if accidents happen during the move. 

The crews are highly trained and experienced in moving businesses of all sizes too. From small offices to large corporate spaces, they move with care and minimal downtime. 

The packing is great too. Clients shared that they shrink-wrap items carefully and use proper padding for sensitive equipment. Many also noted that they organize boxes in a way that makes unpacking easier. 

We also love that they cater to long-distance and cross-country moves. It’s very valuable for those looking to expand to another state.

Their accommodating team is another plus for us. They accept special requests, like stopping at a nearby storage unit to grab some additional items and using carpet protectors.

One slight downside? Some clients reported that the crews sometimes arrive later than expected. This can be a bit frustrating if your business is working on a tight schedule.

Although Axle Moving has only been in business for five years, they don’t fall behind other top commercial movers in Portland. 

First, the crew is quite charismatic. Unlike other crews that frown or work in silence, Axle Moving’s movers are energetic and friendly. Clients shared that they remained approachable throughout the move, which made the entire process more positive than stressful.

The movers are mostly student athletes, so there’s no question about their strength when moving heavy equipment. It’s also good to know that their business has a purpose: providing part-time jobs for students.

On top of that, it’s a BBB-accredited business. This means they meet certain standards for transparency, ethical practices, and customer service.

We also like how transparent they are when it comes to cost. They charge what’s on the paper – no hidden fees. Plus, they have reasonable pricing that makes it even more worth it.

However, we found them lacking in terms of resources, like big trucks. We think they’re only ideal for small business moves.

All Service Moving made an impression on us because of their 21 years of experience. They’ve handled many commercial moves, from relocating a few office items to setting up larger business spaces.

Aside from the experience, we also like that they have a very comprehensive commercial moving service. Talk about packing and unpacking, storage, and even warehousing and delivery. 

The wider the range of services, the more convenient the move becomes for businesses.

And speaking of packing, they have a very neat and quality packing service. Clients note that they use specialty packing materials topped with skilled packers, giving your business assets a secure layer of protection during the move.

Their movers also make their pricing very reasonable. They work with care, efficiency, and a positive vibe, making sure you get a smooth and stress-free move.

They also have well-maintained trucks, which is another huge advantage. Reliable vehicles mean fewer delays and safer transport.

However, we think that their truck designation can still be improved. Some clients noted that the team used a small truck for their business move, which feels very cramped.

Cal’s Moving & Storage piqued our interest because of their wide range of well-maintained trucks. They don’t have a shortage of vehicles, allowing them to handle moves of any size.

That also leads them to provide an efficient moving service without delays. 

Also, the fact that they have a strong employee background check gives us the reassurance that their movers are trustworthy and professional. For businesses, this means a lot. You can feel confident that your valuable equipment and documents are in safe hands.

It’s also worth noting that they have good customer service. Think of responsive office staff who reply to questions and concerns, and a dedicated coordinator who takes care of the scheduled move.

In fact, clients are happy that during their move, their coordinators stayed connected with them. They were asked what they prefer, if they have any special requests, and made it sure that every detail of their business move was handled according to their needs. 

Overall, they have a great service. However, expect that they can be a bit expensive compared to other companies.
