Dr. Michael Kim is all about natural results. People can see it right away in their before-and-after gallery, which we spent way too long scrolling through.

What stood out was how the patients looked like themselves, just fresher. We noticed softer smile lines, sharper jawlines, and necks that looked like they’d never heard of banding.

Dr. Kim’s preservation deep pane face and neck lift really caught our attention. Instead of just pulling skin tight, he repositions the deeper layers, so the results actually last. One patient told us her neck banding was gone after the full deep plane lift.

The Portland Center for Facial Plastic Surgery is serious about safety and planning. 

Instead of rushing patients, Dr. William Portuese and Dr. Joseph Shvidler spend half an hour just mapping out any concerns. They then spend another half hour with a coordinator to go over the details.

One patient said the step-by-step process made her feel a lot less anxious. By the third meeting, she knew exactly what her new jawline would look like, and even the anesthesiologist explained everything in detail.

Their aftercare is spot-on. Instead of wrapping patients up in bulky bandages, they use small drains to keep swelling down. 

One patient said that it made her healing a breeze. The follow-ups are just as thorough, with two or three visits in the first ten days. At the one-month check, Dr. Shvidler even tweaked her scar care, which she said made a big difference in the long run.

The catch: those who want non-surgical options are out of luck here. They don’t offer non-surgical face-lift fillers.

Tanasbourne Plastic Surgery is all about matching the surgery to each patient’s face. Dr. Sheldon R. Cober’s approach stood out for how precisely he blends different techniques to fit each person.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all lift, he customises every incision and tissue to move to their bone structure. One client said her lower facelift and eyelid surgery finally got rid of her tired look, and the scars were hidden so well within her eyelids that no one could tell.

Dr. Cober’s eye for subtlety shows in his mid-face work too. One patient who had a mid-facelift with cheek implants said it looked like she’d aged backwards. We like that there’s no fake puffiness—just natural volume that fits the face.

Another patient recovering from a full facelift said the after-care instructions were crystal clear. We like that they actually tell you how to keep swelling down.

A few people mentioned, though, that depending on the incision, scars can heal differently. One woman’s hairline incision faded away, but another needed microneedling for a thicker scar near her earlobe.

The Waldorf Center for Plastic Surgery is all about customizing every detail to fit the face. One patient told us her surgeon spent nearly an hour just mapping out her face before planning a facelift and neck lift to tackle her jawline and neck banding.

What really impressed us was how they balance surgical skill with non-surgical options.

Their full facelift is still the go-to for major sagging, but younger patients liked the liquid facelift.

One woman with early marionette lines went for fillers plus Ultherapy to boost her collagen.

We also like that patients can mix and match procedures here to get more out of their visit. Another patient told us she paired a brow lift with a mini facelift.

However, their aftercare instructions are a bit vague. One person said she was up at 2 AM Googling “facelift recovery” because she had no idea what she was supposed to do.
