It was so delicious, and we got so many compliments on it
Our cake from Dream Cakes was AMAZING. We did a 1 tier cutting cake with dressed flowers pressed on, and it was almost too pretty to cut. It was perfect for our outdoor/mountain/wildflower vibe wedding. We did sheet cakes to serve to guests. Our cake was chocolate raspberry with ganache. It was so delicious, and we got so many compliments on it- guests loved it. The buttercream was not overpoweringly sweet and just melted in your mouth. This was definitely the best tasting and most beautiful wedding cake we’ve ever had!

Five stars all around
Five stars all around — we used Banquette for our wedding dessert and could not recommend them enough. They guided us on different options, worked with my requests for cake design/flavors, and the end result was even better than we expected. We received so much positive feedback from our guests — especially the chocolate-orange cupcake!! It was also such a beautiful cake
Banquette made our wedding cake last summer and truly made our day special! We had a small wedding so the 6” cake was the perfect size. Almond Mascarpone was our chosen flavor and everyone agreed that it was delicious and not too sweet, which is hard to find! Placing the order online, communicating via email, and picking up the cake was so simple and fast. It was also such a beautiful cake and made our wedding photos that much sweeter. ❤️

Twisted Croissant & Patisserie is known for their “never too sweet” flavors and hand-crafted details that you’d expect from a Paris bakery. They start mixing the dough at 3 a.m. every day with premium local butter, so every pastry and dessert is fresh.
They’re always experimenting, even pushing classic recipes to their 89th version just for perfection.
A friend brought their Basque Cheesecake over last week, and said she could really taste how much care goes into recipe testing. She added that each bite was seriously impressive.
The downside is some of their best cakes and trifles are only available in-store. And with their fast-changing menu, your favorite treat might vanish before you can grab it again.

The yuzu cake also tasted great
Great pastries and desserts. You can either order online three days ahead or come in early in the morning. We ordered ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, strawberry cruffin and yuzu cake. The croissants are all soft and fluffy with chocolate croissant being my favorite. The yuzu cake also tasted great. Overall a bit pricey and worth visiting.

If you crave a decadent slice of cake to treat yourself, Ken’s Artisan Bakery hits the spot perfectly. This local shop uses premium ingredients to bake exceptional daily desserts, like their rich chocolate-raspberry mousse cake and classic carrot cake.
The bakers make everything from scratch every morning, so you always get the freshest quality. On top of that, you can easily order a thick slice and a hot coffee to enjoy out on their sunny patio.
However, they don’t make large, custom tiered cakes for weddings or big events. The shop also locks up by 4:00 PM every day, making late-night dessert runs impossible.
But if you just want a phenomenal piece of cake during the afternoon, their internationally recognized baking is absolutely worth the trip.

Fantastic profiteroles and awesome carrot cake
Got some things to takeaway. Coffee & salted caramel profiteroles were FANTASTIC!!! Carrot cake was awesome. The morning bun was incredible! I think the least impressive thing was the chocolate and salted caramel croissant…..maybe if I had heated it up a bit it would have been even better!!
Highly recommend! We also made French toast out of the Brioche bread, which was next level!!
The walnut loaf was also really amazing!!! 🤩

Excellent bread and famous morning buns
Excellent bread, caneles, macaroons, and salad/sandwiches. This place is famous for a reason. The morning bun is also very tasty.
Some of the pastries are hit or miss to me which is why I don’t give it five stars. The mini carrot cake is all icing, and the tarts are beautiful but aren’t that good imo. And the fruit croissants have pastry cream in them, which isn’t my favorite.
As anything artisan these days, be ready to spend money. It’s not as crazy as some of the bakeries in portland but mini tarts are $8 for reference.

Their cakes are finished with premium Swiss Meringue buttercream, so the icing is smooth and not overly sweet.
If you ever find yourself scrambling for dessert, you can just walk in and pick up a whole pie right from their display case. You can also order most cakes for next-day pickup with no hassle.
Just keep in mind that they don’t do custom writing or special inscriptions. They stick to their regular designs.
Also, individual slices aren’t available for phone orders, so you need to come in for those.

Cute little shop with great customer service. We ordered various slices of cakes and pies and they were all really delicious but so far my favorites are Pumpkin cheesecake, birthday cake and chocolate espresso cake. Can’t wait to go back!
