Strive Workplace Solutions has a lot of branches all over America, and their Portland store is one of the best ones. They’re family-owned and operated businesses, so you can generally expect to receive friendly customer service aside from the many office supplies they offer.
Before anything else, they have been reselling office products for over 50 years. So, it only makes sense as to why the business has expanded to six locations, serving businesses like yours nationwide.
Now for the most exciting part: they offer over 70,000 office supply items. Think papers, pens, binders, and other things like that.
Not to mention the fact that they supply office furniture and equipment as well, giving us the convenience of having it all from one store.
Whether you are a small, medium, or large enterprise, they accommodate businesses of any size. In fact, a lot of great companies in the area are under their service, and we know for a fact that it’s because of their detailed price comparison with other stores.
Speaking of which, we’ve heard that they have highly competitive rates with the likes of Amazon, Office Depot, and so on.
The good thing about going with Strive instead, at least in our opinion, is that you are truly supporting a local business. Plus, you get personalized service and pretty easy returns too if needed.
Although not everything about them is great, say, for example, the quality of their delivery. We saw poor reviews regarding the weak packing boxes for delivery, but anyway, at least that’s the only downside we found at the moment.

With a wide range of office items, from bookmarks and stationery to sticky notes, Little Otsu has you covered. Although their Portland store was only established in 2014, they have had enough business experience since 2002.
For starters, Otsu is an independent retailer and publisher of quality paper goods based in the city, so if you are the kind of business looking for a paper supplier, they may be an option.
(By the way, it’s worth noting that they get their entire line of paper products from fellow independent companies.)
What’s great about them is that you can purchase your needed office goods online and have them delivered to you. The good thing is that they do ship nationwide with a flat rate of $6, which is a pretty great deal if you are thinking of ordering a huge number of products.
They also offer sales on some of their items most of the time for arts and comics, but it’s once in a blue moon for office supplies promo. To make things better, they always have new office supplies in store at a very affordable price.
Another plus point is the fact that the goods they’re selling are mostly made in the USA, Europe, and Japan, places the owners have visited. This only screams quality knowing that these areas are known for top-quality manufacturing.
If you happen to want to visit them personally, we do think you’ll absolutely find their place fascinating since we’ve heard that the store is very pleasing. However, you’ll need to get ready for the crowd because the place is quite small.

No matter how big or small the company is, they always come in handy when it comes to office hardware needs. Since they’re a Canon authorized dealer, you can purchase the brand’s copiers, printers, scanners, wide format plotters, and even shredding machines in this store.
If your office will only need a copier for a short period of time, they do offer rentals. We think you’ll likely enjoy their service because said rentals typically include all toner, service, and supplies packaged into the rental price.
Talking about their service, besides selling and renting, the business core part also includes the repair and maintenance of copiers and printers. We’ve actually heard how professional their technicians are; plus, you can even receive engineering support from Japan if necessary.
They do seem to be good with their quality of copiers and printers. However, we have learned about poor feedback when it comes to their service response, which is a bit troubling.
They average a 4-hour or less on-site response to all service requests they receive. This just gives us an impression that they don’t tend to emergency needs, but for the sake of fairness, the said time period is quite reasonable (if you’re in no rush!)

Fortunately, they don’t just sell paper things; they can also be your go-to supplier for other office items such as pens and pencils, sharpeners, bookmarks, memo boards, etc. Not to mention all the other stuff they have in store: wedding & party needs, and art materials.
Moreover, they aren’t just open for retail; they can also deliver for wholesale purchase, perfect for large offices.
Friendly tip, by the way: when you approach them, ask for ‘Waste Not Paper’ because that is what they call their wholesale arm.
However, there were a few customers who were not fans of the service they received from the staff.
Their pricing system is actually quite pricey too, although we still think it is reasonable for the quality. On top of it all, Paper Source is generous when it comes to giving off coupon codes and discounts – just drop by their website for reference!

They’re very responsive too. Ring them and, without hesitation, they’ll quickly ship to your essential office items like copy paper, staples, paper clips, pens, and markers.
In fact, their regular customers regard them as the city’s “One-Stop-Business-Resource” because they can deliver such items instantly (well, we thought so too). After all, they are in the shipping business.
In line with that, Mail Room Plus has a reputation for providing quick and dependable service for a wide range of business services. This includes packing, shipping, printing, document services, and, obviously, private mailbox rentals.
That being said, we still heard some poor notes regarding their mailing services… and honestly, in our opinion, it’s not a good thing. Fortunately, we haven’t learned any bad feedback about their actual delivery of office supplies.
Now, we can’t simply say that their items are cheap but it’s fair to say that they’re reasonable since nothing is excessively expensive. What we care about is that they’re always available for your office supply needs (during business hours, of course), except Sundays.
